TL;DR: Four international schools sit inside Bonifacio Global City itself: International School Manila, The British School Manila, Everest Academy Manila and Manila Japanese School, with Global Leaders International School on the district edge and more in the wider Taguig area around McKinley Hill. Of those, only ISM and Everest publish current fee schedules; ISM elementary is US$15,160 + ₱479,600 and Everest Kinder is ₱384,000 for 2026-2027. Two schools commonly listed as BGC are not: Nord Anglia is in Parañaque and Brent Manila is in Biñan, Laguna. If you live outside the district, ISM's published bus zones put Makati at ₱41,860 per quarter and Alabang at ₱54,600.
BGC is the densest concentration of international schooling in the Philippines, which is why so many relocation packages steer families there. It is also where the most confusion lives, because several schools with "Manila" in the name are nowhere near it.

International School Manila
The anchor of the district and the largest of them. ISM occupies a purpose-built campus at University Parkway inside Fort Bonifacio Global City, running Preschool to Grade 12 as a non-profit day school across an Early Childhood Center, Elementary, Middle and High School.
Its own accreditation page names the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the International Baccalaureate Organization. That page also records the PK-12 accreditation as reaffirmed through a cycle ending 30 June 2025, so ask admissions where the cycle stands today.
Published tuition for SY 2026-2027, billed as both currency components:
| Division | Annual |
|---|---|
| Preschool 3 and 4 | US$9,720 + ₱306,400 |
| Elementary, K to Grade 4 | US$15,160 + ₱479,600 |
| Middle School, Grades 5 to 8 | US$16,520 + ₱524,600 |
| High School, Grades 9 to 10 | US$17,620 + ₱558,400 |
| High School, Grades 11 to 12 | US$19,660 + ₱623,800 |
New students also pay a US$700 application fee, a US$4,500 matriculation fee and a US$4,500 facilities enhancement fee. English as an Additional Language runs US$1,625 per semester in year one and US$1,100 in year two. The school year runs 6 August 2026 to 4 June 2027 across four quarters.
The British School Manila
On 36th Street in University Park, minutes from ISM. Its admissions page states it takes students aged 3 to 18 from more than 50 nationalities, requires age-appropriate English proficiency assessed on application, keeps class sizes small, and operates a wait pool with admissions priority categories.
The programme detail that catches British families out: BSM's own page describes an adapted form of the British curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13. It is not an A Level school on its own description. If A Levels are a requirement, raise it before you apply.
BSM does not publish fees on its own website. Its admissions page carries no figures and no link to a schedule. Fee questions go through a phone number and an enquiry form. Public figures circulating for the current year come from a PhilSTAR Life survey published 25 May 2026, which lists Nursery at £4,170 + ₱444,180 rising to £9,165 + ₱977,790 for Years 12 to 13. That is a media survey with a date, not the school's schedule, and we are labelling it that way rather than stacking it against the schools that publish.
Everest Academy Manila
The affordable option inside the district, and by some distance. Everest is at 3846 38th Drive North, describing itself as the first Catholic international school in the Philippines and part of the Regnum Christi network. Its own site names Cognia and RC Education as accreditors and displays affiliations with DepEd, CEAP and the Japanese Council of International Schools. Classes are co-ed, with classrooms separated by gender from Grade 4.
Published fees for AY 2026-2027:
| Grade band | Basic tuition | Capital development fee (annual) |
|---|---|---|
| Kinder | ₱384,000 | ₱90,000 |
| Grades 1 to 2 | ₱508,000 | ₱120,000 |
| Grades 3 to 5 | ₱546,000 | ₱120,000 |
| Grades 6 to 8 | ₱567,000 | ₱125,000 |
| Grades 9 to 11 | ₱605,000 | ₱125,000 |
| Grade 12 | ₱616,000 | ₱125,000 |
Plus a one-time ₱55,000 matriculation fee for new students. A Grade 6 place therefore costs ₱692,000 a year (about US$11,200 at ~₱62 to the dollar, August 2026, approximate), against roughly ₱1.55 million at ISM for the equivalent band. That gap is the single most useful number in this guide for families whose package does not cover fees.
Manila Japanese School
At University Park in BGC, operating under the Embassy of Japan. Its own site describes elementary and junior high schooling on a Japanese-based curriculum, with Japanese-language education at the centre, level-based English conversation classes taught by native teachers, and international and local understanding education. It publishes admission guides for new and transfer entry but no fee schedule on the pages we could open, so ask the school directly.
Global Leaders International School
At the Treston Building, 32nd Street corner C5 Road, on the C5 edge of BGC. It is a Cambridge school running IGCSE and A Level programmes from preschool to Grade 12. It has a fees page, but no figures rendered on it for us, so treat any number you see elsewhere as unverified until admissions confirms it in writing. If your child needs a genuine A Level pathway rather than an IB one, this is one of the few Cambridge options actually inside the district.
Schools We Could Not Open
Three schools in the Taguig area are named here without a fee or programme description, for different reasons:
- Chinese International School Manila, at McKinley Hill, Taguig. Its site is reachable, but we have not audited its published fees for this guide — check
cismanila.orgdirectly. - The Beacon School, Taguig. Its site returned an HTTP 403 to every request we made, including from a normal browser user agent, so we could read nothing it publishes.
- Korean International School Philippines, listed at Upper McKinley Road, McKinley Hill, Taguig. The domain we tried did not resolve, so we could not confirm a current official site.
Contact each directly. We would rather leave a gap than fill it from a directory page that may be years out of date.
Two Schools That Are Not in BGC
Nord Anglia International School Manila is at Bradco Avenue, Aseana Business Park, Parañaque, on its own admissions page. It is not a BGC school, and the drive from BGC crosses the metro. Its SY 2026-2027 schedule is fully published: an annual figure combining tuition, a ₱197,999 capital development fee and a compulsory ₱77,255 lunch fee, running from ₱804,326 in Pre-Nursery to ₱2,099,643 in Year 13, plus ₱29,806 application, ₱242,875 enrolment and a ₱50,000 refundable deposit for new students.
Brent International School Manila is at Brentville Subdivision, Barangay Mamplasan, Biñan, Laguna. South of Alabang, not in Metro Manila at all. Its SY 2026-2027 fees are the lowest of the three flagships at US$8,704 + ₱399,840 for Lower School, and the commute is the reason.
Commute and Location, Honestly
The most useful published commute document in the city is ISM's bus zone list for SY 2026-2027, because it maps what the district's own catchment actually looks like.
| Zone | Typical areas | Roundtrip per quarter |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | SOMA, Infinity, Maridien, Verve, One Uptown, Grand Hyatt | ₱36,400 |
| 2 | BGC generally, Serendra, Essensa, Forbeswood, Bellagio, Shangri-La BGC | ₱38,220 |
| 3 | North and South Forbes Park, Dasmariñas Village, McKinley Hill | ₱40,040 |
| 4 | Makati: Rockwell, Salcedo, Legaspi, Magallanes, San Lorenzo; Ortigas A, Valle Verde 1-5 | ₱41,860 |
| 5 | Alabang, Ortigas B, Corinthian Gardens, Eastwood Libis, Roxas Boulevard, Bay Garden | ₱54,600 |
Four quarters a year. A Zone 2 family inside BGC pays about ₱152,900 for one child; a Zone 5 family in Alabang pays about ₱218,400 and their child spends far longer on the road. Morning-only and afternoon-only services are cheaper, from ₱23,660 to ₱41,860 per quarter.
Two practical conclusions. Living inside BGC saves money and time but costs it back in rent, so run housing and transport as one number. And if your employer is choosing your housing before you have chosen a school, push back, because the school decision constrains the commute far more than the reverse.
How to Use This Shortlist
BGC lets you visit four schools in two days, which is the strongest argument for starting here. Do that, then decide on the things a fee schedule cannot tell you.
Before you go, read what international school in Manila really costs so you can ask about one-time and recurring charges properly, and ISM versus British School Manila versus Brent if the flagship tier is where you are looking. If the budget is tighter, affordable international schools in Metro Manila covers the accredited lower tier including Everest and options in Pasig and Parañaque.
On paperwork, foreign children entering basic education should start with foreign students in basic education and the Special Study Permit guide. If you are on a work visa, read 9(g) worker dependents and schooling; on a spousal visa, 13(a) visa children and schooling. Records coming from abroad need apostilling, and arrivals after August should read transferring mid-year from abroad. Term dates are in the DepEd school calendar for 2026-2027. You can browse the full listings on our Metro Manila page or across all schools.
