Korean International School Philippines

Korean International School Philippines (KISP) is a private school on Upper McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, built with an initial investment of about $5 million on a 3,000-square-meter lot. Construction finished in late 2008 and the school held its first school year starting March 2009. It is run by the Korean School Foundation Philippines, Inc., with support from Korea's Ministry of Education and the Korean Association in the Philippines. KISP follows the Korean national curriculum, structured as three kindergarten levels, six years of elementary, three years of middle school and three years of high school, taught with Korean language and culture embedded throughout so that Korean students living in the Philippines can continue their home country's education system. The school initially opened with room for about 450 students and was designed with capacity to later expand to around 1,000. While its primary population is Korean nationals, the school has stated it accepts students of other nationalities as well.
