The British School Manila

The British School Manila (BSM) is a private, non-profit international school in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, established in 1976 to serve the British and international expatriate community in Metro Manila. It began with 36 students at the old Union Church and now enrolls students from Nursery through Year 13 representing more than 46 nationalities. BSM follows an adapted British National Curriculum through the primary years and Key Stage 3, GCSEs at Key Stage 4, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Years 12 and 13, which it has offered since being authorized in 2003. In 2007, BSM became the first school in the Philippines accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), and it is also a member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS). The school moved to its current purpose-built Bonifacio Global City campus in 2002 and opened a dedicated Creative Arts Centre in 2019. Annual tuition combines a Philippine peso component and a British pound component that rises by year group, from Nursery through the IB Diploma years. BSM runs the BSM Taguig Scholarship Programme, which has supported 21 scholars from the local community.
