Singapore School Manila 2026: Fees, Campuses and Curriculum

TL;DR: Singapore School Manila is an IB World School at Paseo de Magallanes in Makati, part of a four-campus group that also runs Clark, Silang and, as an affiliate, Cebu. The academic ladder is Singapore curriculum through Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE above that, then either Cambridge AS/A Levels or the IB Diploma for Pre-University. The group publishes its one-time fees precisely, including a ₱135,000 School Development Fee at the Manila campus, and publishes no tuition figure anywhere. Budget at least ₱242,500 in cash before a single tuition payment, of which ₱100,000 eventually comes back to you.

Where the official information actually lives

Start with a practical warning. The school's own domain, singaporeschoolmanila.com.ph, was not serving pages when we checked on 29 August 2026: the HTTPS port refused connections and the plain HTTP request returned a 500 error. The email address on that domain is still the one the school publishes for enquiries, so the mailbox and the website are separate problems.

Working official information sits on the group site at singaporeschools.ph, which carries the campus pages, the admission policies, the fee schedule and the term calendar. Everything below comes from there, from the Singapore School Cebu site, or from an accreditor.

Curriculum: three systems stacked

Singapore Schools Philippines describes the ladder the same way on every campus page.

The phrase the group uses is that its schools "adapt" the Singaporean curriculum rather than import it wholesale, which is the honest description. This is not a Ministry of Education Singapore school. It is a Philippine private school running a Singapore-derived programme in the early years and handing off to two British-origin external qualification systems later.

The Singapore reputation rests largely on maths, and the group does not oversell that in its published material. If you want the specifics of how Singapore Maths is sequenced at your child's level, ask for the scheme of work, not the brochure.

Other published teaching commitments across the group:

• Class size capped at 12 students to 2 teachers in Preschool, and 24 students per class at higher levels.
• A no-homework policy up to Secondary 2, with homework introduced for IGCSE, AS/A Level and IB Diploma students.
• "Special time" built into the weekly timetable for finishing schoolwork or covering areas that need more attention.
• Uniforms Monday to Thursday, casual wear Fridays.

Accreditation, checked

Singapore School Manila states on its campus page that it is an IB World School authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization, an accredited Cambridge school, and recognised by the Department of Education. The IB's own school directory carries the school under code 051123 at Paseo de Magallanes, Makati.

It publishes its IB policy documents openly, which is a useful signal and rarer than it should be: student admission and preparation policy, inclusion policy, academic integrity policy, language policy, assessment policy, extended essay supervision, and the creativity, activity, service handbook. If you are evaluating whether an IB programme is actually running or merely announced, those documents tell you more than a logo does.

One clarification, because parents routinely conflate the accreditation systems. Singapore School Manila does not appear on the ACS WASC Directory of Schools, which lists 12 accredited schools in the Philippines as of its 24 August 2026 update. That is not a mark against it. WASC is an American regional accreditor and the Singapore Schools group has gone the Cambridge and IB route instead. It only matters if a receiving school or university in your home country specifically asks for WASC.

Singapore School Cebu makes a sharper claim on its own site: it says it is the first and only campus in Cebu that is both an IB World School and a Cambridge International School, and that it joins only 500-odd campuses worldwide offering both Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma.

The campuses

Clark and Green Campus both run Singapore curriculum to Lower Secondary and Cambridge IGCSE above it, and the group says both began offering Cambridge International AS/A Level from SY 2023-2024. Neither campus page claims IB Diploma authorisation, so if the IB is what you are after, Manila and Cebu are the two campuses that state it.

Cebu is the outlier in structure as well as fees. It describes itself as "an affiliate and sister school of Singapore School Manila", was established in 2010, runs its own website, its own admissions timetable and its own fee scale, and reports a campus at 90 percent of capacity with a teacher-to-pupil ratio of 1:5. It also runs a trilingual model: English as the primary medium, Mandarin as a core subject, and conversational Filipino from Primary. The group homepage also displays a counter naming Singapore School Bacolod alongside the four campuses above, but there is no campus page, no address and no contact details for it anywhere on the site, and it is absent from the campus dropdown on the contact form. Treat it as unconfirmed until the school says otherwise.

Group-wide, the site reports 1,530 enrollees for 2025 and 278 faculty.

What the fees actually are

Here is where this school is unusual, and it cuts both ways. The one-time charges are published to the peso. The recurring charge, tuition, is not published at all. The admission page says only: "Tuition, materials and tests fees are available upon request."

We are not going to fill that gap with a third-party estimate. Published one-time fees, in the group's own words:

Dollar figures are our approximations at roughly ₱62 to US$1, not the school's.

Run the arithmetic for a new Manila family and the picture is clearer than a tuition number alone would be. Before tuition is invoiced you part with ₱7,500 plus ₱135,000 plus ₱50,000 plus ₱50,000, or ₱242,500. Of that, ₱50,000 comes off tuition and ₱50,000 comes back years later, so the genuinely sunk portion is ₱142,500, roughly US$2,300, per child. Siblings each pay the development fee again unless the school says otherwise, which it does not.

The group also states a no refund policy for SSM, Clark and Green Campus in bold on its own admission page. Read that sentence twice before you wire anything.

Singapore School Cebu prices its own entry separately: a non-refundable processing fee of ₱10,000 for PreSchool, ₱13,000 for Primary and ₱15,000 for Secondary and Pre-University; a School Development Fee of ₱80,000 on entry to PreSchool, ₱160,000 to Primary and ₱200,000 to Secondary and Pre-University; and a ₱50,000 reservation fee deducted from materials rather than tuition.

Admission: ages, documents, steps

Entry ages are set against a 31 October cutoff and published as a full table. Nursery at 3, Kinder 1 at 4, Kinder 2 at 5, Primary 1 at 6, then one year per level through Primary 6 at 11, Secondary 1 at 12 through Secondary 4 at 15, and Cambridge AS/A or IBDP at 16 or 17.

The group says admissions processes are identical across its schools. Requirements for Step 1:

• Latest report card for incoming K to Secondary 4 applicants, or transcript of records for Pre-University applicants
• Three 1x1 coloured photos
• Completed application form
• Birth certificate
• For foreign students: copies of the passport, ACR I-Card and visa of both the child and the parents
• Letter of recommendation from the previous school
• The ₱7,500 processing fee

Step 2 is the admission test and interview. Step 3 is a parent or guardian interview with the School Administrator or Managing Director. Results come by mail and phone within two weeks, and the complete transcript of records must be in before enrolment. Step 4 is settling the development fee and reservation fee.

Singapore School Cebu runs a stricter, batched version: three application batches plus a late-enrolment window, with a parent-and-child interview with the Head of School or School President after a favourable test result. It states plainly that its campus is at 90 percent capacity, that slots may be full at some levels, and that admission officers will not tell you your child's chances.

The calendar is a three-term year

This trips up families arriving from a two-semester system, and it does not match the DepEd calendar either. Published dates for SY 2026-2027:

Parent-teacher conferences are listed for 4 December, 2 April and 25 June, each falling after the term they report on has closed.

Who it fits

It fits families who want Singapore-style early years and a clear external qualification at the end, without committing to a single national system for thirteen years. The IGCSE-then-IB-or-A-Level fork at Pre-University is a real choice, not a formality, and having both on one campus is uncommon in Metro Manila.

It fits less well if you need a price before you commit time to the process. You will complete an enquiry, and possibly a campus visit, before anyone tells you the annual number. Set that expectation with your relocation budget holder now, and ask for the full schedule in writing, including materials and examination fees, before you pay the reservation fee.
