TL;DR: Reedley International School sits at 2 C. Caparas Street in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City, and is one of only 12 ACS WASC-accredited schools in the Philippines. It runs Singapore maths and science under a DepEd K-12 shell with American language arts, and offers College Board Advanced Placement rather than the IB. Testing fees are published, ₱2,700 for Pre-K and Kinder and ₱5,000 for Grades 1 to 12, but tuition is not: the fee catalogue sits behind a download form. The most recent figures the school has released publicly went to PhilSTAR Life in May 2026 and cover the 2025-2026 year, running ₱229,861 to ₱438,227.
What Reedley is
Founded in 1999 by Nellie Aquino-Ong, the school is named after Reedley College in California, where she studied. It is private, non-sectarian, non-traditional and co-educational, serving Pre-K to Grade 12, ages 4 to 18.
The campus history explains why older listings give conflicting addresses. High school opened in Quezon City in 2000. Grade school was added in 2001 with a move to Pasig. The school moved to Libis, Quezon City in 2006, then to its permanent Pasig home in 2016. WASC international accreditation came in 2013, and School of Character certification from the Thomas Lickona Institute of Asia in 2018.
Current address is 2 C. Caparas Street, Barangay Ugong, Pasig City 1604, with vehicle entrance via J. Cruz Street, which is one-way. The head of school is René MacQuillin, whose SY 2026-2027 welcome letter is on the site.
The published foreign-student share is 21.94 percent as of School Year 2022-2023, with more than 25 nationalities served over time. That is a four-year-old number and the school has not refreshed it, so treat it as a rough indicator of mix rather than a current statistic.
The curriculum is three systems in a DepEd frame
Reedley describes a 14-year curriculum that "adopts the best approaches of three curricula: Singaporean, American, and Filipino." Unpacked from its own academic programmes page:
| Subject area | Standard followed |
|---|---|
| Mathematics | Singapore Mathematics Curriculum, concrete to pictorial to abstract |
| Science (grade school) | Singapore Ministry of Education standards |
| Science (junior high) | Cambridge O Level standards |
| English Language Arts | US Common Core standards |
| Social Studies | AERO Common Core Plus |
| Filipino | Filipino as a Foreign Language, based on Ohio communication strands |
| Structure | DepEd K to 12: Kindergarten, 6 years primary, 4 years junior high, 2 years senior high |
There is a wrinkle worth naming. A separate page on the same site describes the Humanities curriculum as based on the McRel Academic Program (USA), while the academic programmes page attributes Social Studies to AERO Common Core Plus. Those are different frameworks. Ask admissions which one is in force for the year your child would enter rather than assuming either page is current.
Senior High School runs the standard DepEd strands, ABM, GAS, HUMSS and STEM, alongside Advanced Placement, a Foreign Language Program, a CAPSTONE programme, Apprentice Week work immersion, and the Reedley School Community Action Program. If the DepEd side of that is unfamiliar, our Philippine education system guide and the MATATAG curriculum guide cover the national structure the school is operating inside.
No IB, and the school says why
Reedley states outright that it does not offer the IB programme. Its reasoning, in its own words, is that Advanced Placement offers flexibility in subject selection, potential college credits, wide recognition by universities, rigorous subject depth and greater accessibility.
That is a real fork for expat families. AP is course-by-course and American in orientation; the IB Diploma is a single integrated two-year package that UK, EU and Australian universities read fluently. If your child is likely to apply to universities outside North America, check how those admissions offices weight AP results before you treat this as equivalent to an IB school.
Published AP course offerings:
- Maths and science: AP Precalculus, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics (algebra-based)
- Social sciences: AP World History, AP Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, AP Comparative Government and Politics
- Humanities: AP English Literature and Composition, AP European History, AP Spanish Language and Culture
Exams are administered by the College Board. The school's claim that 100 percent of its students gain admission to local or foreign universities, excluding those choosing gap years, military service or immediate employment, is a school claim on its own FAQ, not an externally audited figure.
Accreditation, checked against the accreditor
We verified this at source rather than from a listicle. The ACS WASC Directory of Schools, last updated 24 August 2026, returns 12 accredited schools in the Philippines. Reedley International School (PK-12), No. 2 Carlo J. Caparas St., Pasig City, appears with category Private School (Comprehensive School) and status Accredited.
The school additionally states on its own FAQ that it is a regular member of the Council of International Schools (UK) and of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools, and that it is a certified School of Character, and maintains an alliance with the Singapore Brain Development Center. Its FAQ attributes the character certification to the Character Education Partnership while its history page credits the Thomas Lickona Institute of Asia; those are related bodies but the pages do not match, so treat the specific certifier as unconfirmed.

What Reedley publishes on money, and what it does not
The published items are the entry fees:
| Fee | Amount | Approx. US$ |
|---|---|---|
| Admissions testing, Pre-K and Kinder | ₱2,700 | $44 |
| Admissions testing, Grades 1 to 12 | ₱5,000 | $81 |
Both are non-refundable. Dollar equivalents are our approximations at roughly ₱62 to US$1.
Tuition is not published. The admissions page carries a "Tuition Fees and Payment Plans" panel that says school fees vary per grade level and programme, and offers a Tuition Fees Catalog behind a download form. There is no fee table anywhere on the site, and the school's own page about international school tuition contains no numbers at all.
Under our sourcing rules we will not substitute a third-party estimate for a school's own figure. There is one usable exception: a dated news survey where the school itself supplied the numbers. In its 25 May 2026 list of international school tuition for A.Y. 2026-2027, PhilSTAR Life reported that Reedley said 2026-2027 fees are available on request during the application process, and published the school's 2025-2026 annual big class programme fees as sent to the outlet:
| Level | Annual fee, SY 2025-2026 | Approx. US$ |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-Kindergarten | ₱229,861 | $3,710 |
| Kindergarten | ₱242,429 | $3,910 |
| Grade 1 | ₱337,433 | $5,440 |
| Grade 2 | ₱375,539 | $6,060 |
| Grade 3 | ₱395,298 | $6,380 |
| Grade 4 | ₱403,766 | $6,510 |
| Grade 5 | ₱409,410 | $6,600 |
| Grade 6 | ₱415,056 | $6,700 |
| Grade 7 | ₱420,983 | $6,790 |
| Grade 8 | ₱426,731 | $6,880 |
| Grade 9 | ₱432,479 | $6,980 |
| Grade 10 | ₱436,790 | $7,050 |
| Grade 11 | ₱409,487 | $6,600 |
| Grade 12 | ₱438,227 | $7,070 |
Treat that as a dated survey figure, not a 2026-2027 price. The same report lists a ₱10,000 school development fund and a ₱25,000 matriculation fee for new students. Note also that "big class programme" implies other programmes exist at other prices, and the CIAP and PGLP support tracks are screened and priced separately.
Set against the rest of the market, that band puts Reedley well below the dollar-denominated tier. Our cheapest international schools in Manila roundup and the wider international school fees guide show where the ₱230,000 to ₱440,000 range sits.
The only discount the school publishes is for families enrolling two or more siblings, with no stated amount. There is no published scholarship programme.
Admissions: documents, testing, and the language screen
English is the language of instruction and every applicant sits an entrance test conducted in English, which doubles as the school's English proficiency screen. Applicants who struggle are steered to an English as a Second Language programme.
The published requirements list runs to eleven items:
- RIS Student Application Form, signed
- RIS Student Recommendation Form, signed
- Previous school year's report card showing promotion to the current level
- Current school year's report card showing promotion to the level applied for
- Birth certificate, original PSA-certified copy
- Recent 2x2 photo, white background
- Photocopy of passport and Philippine visa, for foreign and dual citizen applicants only
- Recent developmental paediatrician's report, for CIAP and PGLP applicants with a diagnosis
- Certificate of ranking per section and per batch, for incoming Grade 10
- Certificate of ranking per strand and per batch, for incoming Grades 11 and 12
- Grade Equivalent for Foreign Students, for Junior High Grade 7 to Senior High Grade 12 applicants only
That last entry on the live page trails into a reference to an accredited drug testing centre in Mandaluyong, which reads like leftover text from a separate requirement. Ask admissions directly whether a drug test is part of your child's application rather than guessing from the page.
Documents from a foreign school will usually need authentication before a Philippine school will accept them. Handle that before you fly, using our apostille guide for school records.
The process itself is three steps: submit requirements on campus or by email, pay the admissions processing fee at the bank and send the deposit slip, then schedule the admissions test and screening. Tours have resumed on campus by appointment. Mid-year enrolment is possible but framed as subject to slot availability within the enrolment period, and our mid-year transfer guide covers what that usually involves.
The school also publishes a notice that it has no employed, contracted or appointed guardians, agents, advisers or interpreters, and will not honour documents or payments handled by anyone outside its Cashier, Accounting Department and Office of School Development. That notice exists for a reason. Pay the school directly and keep the bank record.
Learning support, and where the line is
Reedley is more specific than most schools about what it can and cannot take on. It accepts children with mild to moderate learning needs at Tier 1 and Tier 2 who can engage positively with teachers and classmates. It states it is not equipped to support students whose diagnosed conditions require Tier 3 interventions, naming Autism Spectrum Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder as examples, and says admission depends on a review of each child's profile against the school's capacity.
Formal support runs through the Center for Individualized Academic Program, covering Lower School 1 to Middle School 6, plus a High School Academic Support Program. Both go through separate screening, and both carry their own screening process ahead of the ordinary admissions test.
Who it fits
It fits families who want verified WASC accreditation and a Singapore-derived maths and science sequence without the dollar pricing of the BGC schools, and who are comfortable with a DepEd-registered structure and Senior High School strands rather than a fully foreign programme. The AP route suits students aiming at North American universities.
It fits less well if you need an IB Diploma, if your child needs Tier 3 support, or if you want a price before you engage with admissions. On that last point the school is at least consistent with the local norm rather than worse than it, and unlike most of its peers it has at least released a full grade-by-grade schedule to a national outlet once.
