TL;DR: CBRC's Nueva Vizcaya branch runs from the 2nd floor of the Rivera Building on Burgos Street in Don Domingo Maddela, Bayombong, on 0956 556 4468. It covers LET and criminology, face to face, and it is the only review centre in our Nueva Vizcaya records. No fee is published anywhere, by CBRC nationally or by the branch. There is no branch website; announcements and enrolment run through its Facebook page. TopRank's own branch list also shows a Nueva Vizcaya location, so the province probably has more options than our directory currently holds.
The only one on file, which changes the calculation
Most of our review centre guides can point you to three or four local alternatives. This one cannot. CBRC Nueva Vizcaya is currently the only centre in our Nueva Vizcaya records.
That is a fact about our directory as much as about the province. TopRank Review Academy's own branches page lists a Nueva Vizcaya location among its Luzon entries, and we have not yet added it, so there is at least one other operator in the province. What is fair to say is that Nueva Vizcaya has a thin review market compared to Cagayan Valley's larger centres, and that a graduate here has fewer local options than a graduate in Tuguegarao or Santiago.
That thinness cuts both ways. Fewer options means less price competition and less ability to walk away. It also means a single branch serves the whole province, so batches are more likely to actually fill and open.
The address, corrected against CBRC's own directory
Our record gives the address as "Don Domingo Madela, Burgos, Bayombong, 3700 Nueva Vizcaya". CBRC's own branch directory is more specific: "2nd Floor Rivera bldg. Burgos st. Don Domingo Maddela Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya", with the contact number 09565564468.
Two useful details there. The phone number is an exact match with what we hold, which is the strongest verification available for a branch with no independent website. And the building and floor, Rivera Building, 2nd floor, are what you actually need to find the door, which our record was missing.
Bayombong is the provincial capital and sits on the Cagayan Valley Road, so the branch is reachable by bus and jeep from Solano, Bambang and Aritao without an overnight stay.
LET and criminology, and why that pairing
The Bayombong branch covers two exams: the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers and the Criminologist Licensure Examination.
This is the standard CBRC provincial configuration, and it is not arbitrary. LET and criminology are the two highest-volume board exams outside Metro Manila, largely because education and criminology are the two courses most widely offered by provincial state universities and local colleges. A branch running those two can fill batches in a province of half a million people. A branch running, say, medical technology review probably cannot.
CBRC nationally advertises more than 40 programmes across PRC licensure exams, qualifying exams, language courses and international recognition tracks, including nursing, midwifery, agriculture, civil service and NMAT. None of that is a promise about Bayombong. If you need a programme outside LET and criminology, ask the branch which nearby location runs it, or whether CBRC's online delivery covers it.
Face to face, with no online fallback on file
Our record lists face-to-face review only for this branch: no online option, no hybrid.
CBRC nationally states it delivers in both online and classroom formats, so it is worth asking whether an online batch is open to you even if the Bayombong room is the local default. But plan around the classroom answer.
For a provincial reviewee, that is usually fine and sometimes preferable. The main advantage of a local classroom programme is that you keep living at home. The costs that sink most board reviewees are not tuition, they are the months of rent, food and transport that come with reviewing in a city you do not live in. A Bayombong batch removes all of that.
The trade-off is schedule rigidity. If you are teaching on a substitute contract or working shifts while you review, a fixed classroom schedule is harder to work around than recorded lectures. Our comparison of online and classroom review sets out which situations each format actually suits.
Fees: not published
There is no fee on file for this branch, and CBRC publishes no tuition on its national website. No rate card, no package list, no programme prices. Rates are set at branch level and vary between cycles.
We will not estimate. What you should do instead:
- Call 0956 556 4468 and ask for the total in writing, not a range over the phone.
- Ask whether books and handouts are included or a separate purchase. CBRC sells reviewer books and flashcards through its online store, so this genuinely varies.
- Ask about the free-books and scholarship offers CBRC advertises nationally, and whether the Bayombong batch is covered.
- Ask whether final coaching before the exam date is inside the fee or billed separately.
- Ask what a failed attempt entitles you to: sit-in rights, a discount, or nothing.
Our review centre cost guide covers what the market actually charges and why quoted ranges are so unreliable.
Time the batch against the exam, not against convenience
The question most reviewees get wrong in a one-centre province is not which centre, it is when.
Board review only works if it lands in the right window before your exam date. Enrol too early and you peak months out and go stale; enrol too late and you are cramming the majorship subjects in the final fortnight. In a province with a single provider, batches do not open continuously, so the calendar is set for you rather than by you.
Ask the branch three timing questions before anything else:
- What are the confirmed start and end dates for the batch covering my target exam date?
- When does the intensive final coaching block run, and is it a separate enrolment?
- If this batch does not open, when is the next one, and is that still in time?
If the answer to the third question is "after your exam", your real options are an online batch or self-study, and it is better to know that in September than in January. Our guide to how long you should review for a board exam covers what a realistic runway looks like.
What CBRC's national claims mean here
CBRC's site claims 181 Philippine branches plus six international, over 40 review programmes, ISO 9001:2015 certification and 18 years of operation, and describes itself as the largest review centre in the country.
The scale claims are plausible and are the company's own published figures. The ISO certification is a quality-management-system audit, which speaks to documented processes rather than to exam results. The topnotcher and passer claims on the site are undated and network-wide, and there is no branch-level figure for Bayombong.
More importantly, no figure of that kind is verifiable for any Philippine review centre. PRC publishes lists of passers by name; it does not break results down by review centre. Every pass rate you will ever be quoted by a review centre is self-reported. We set out what the official data does support in board exam passing rates by course.
Our record carries no Google rating and no reviews for this branch, so there is no independent local signal at all. Ask around locally instead: in a province this size, recent LET passers from Nueva Vizcaya State University will know who reviewed where.
For the network overall, see our CBRC guide, and for how the same brand runs a much larger operation in Central Luzon, the CBRC Bocaue guide.
Who this branch suits
It suits an education or criminology graduate living in Nueva Vizcaya who wants to review without relocating, and who can commit to a fixed classroom schedule in Bayombong.
It suits you less if you need a programme other than LET or criminology, if your work makes a fixed schedule impossible, or if you want to compare several local providers on price before choosing. On the last point, the province simply does not give you that option yet.
If you are still deciding whether a review centre is the right spend at all, our pieces on self-review versus a review centre and how to pass the LET on the first try are the honest starting points. Plenty of provincial reviewees pass on structured self-study; a centre buys you pacing and mock exams, not a guarantee.
