TL;DR: Six Philippine schools state on their own websites that they teach a Cambridge programme, and only three of those — Global Leaders International School, CIE British School and the Singapore School network — take students to Cambridge A-Level. The rest run IGCSE and then hand over to the IB Diploma, which is what British School Manila does. There is a complication: the Cambridge International school finder is offline as we write, so none of this can be checked against the accreditor's own directory right now. And at least one school with Cambridge in its name teaches no Cambridge qualification at all.
The British curriculum is the second-most-common international system in the Philippines after the IB, and it is far harder to pin down. IB schools appear in a public directory with per-programme authorisation dates. Cambridge schools, right now, do not — because the directory is down.
So this list is built the slower way: from each school's own website, quoting what the school itself claims, and saying plainly where we could not verify.
The verification problem, stated up front
Cambridge International's own Find a Cambridge school page currently carries this message: the search "is currently unavailable." The page also notes that schools in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka can be found through a separate site, which does not help for the Philippines.
That means three things for you as a parent.
First, nobody can currently confirm a Philippine school's Cambridge registration at source, including us. Second, any list you read that claims to have verified Cambridge status this month is either using the school's own word, as we are, or is repeating an older listicle. Third, the practical workaround is to ask the school for its Cambridge centre number in writing, along with the syllabuses it is registered to deliver, and check that number once the finder returns.
We also could not reach britishcouncil.ph on repeated attempts, so we cannot say what the British Council administers in the Philippines. Treat claims about British Council exam centres as unverified until you check with them directly.
What each school actually says

British School Manila
BSM is in University Park, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, and is the closest thing the country has to a full British school. Its own curriculum page describes a curriculum "adapted from the English National curriculum which is grouped into Key Stages," running from the Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 13. Its senior school page states that BSM "achieves excellent results at both IGCSE and International Baccalaureate level."
The detail people get wrong: BSM does not do A-Levels. Its admissions page sets out the pathway "From our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) right through to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Years 12 and 13." So it is British up to 16, then IB. Its about page lists affiliations with CIS, IB World School, FOBISIA, COBIS, EARCOS and Cambridge International School, and it reports around 955 students from more than 50 nationalities and a 100% IB Diploma pass rate.
BSM does not publish a fee table on the site. Its fees sit inside a downloadable admissions guide, which is a scanned document rather than a text one, so we are not transcribing figures from it. Download it from the school and read it yourself.
CIE British School
CIE, the Centre for International Education, is the only operator running a British pathway in more than one region: campuses in Cebu City at 168 President Magsaysay Street, Kasambagan; in Makati; and in Tacloban City.
Its structure, in its own words: a Foundation School covering "the foundation stages of the early years (ages 1-5)," a Primary School covering "Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5 to 11)," and a High School covering "Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11 to 16)," with IGCSE in Years 10-11 and GCE A-Levels in Years 12-13. That is a complete English route to university entry without a system change at 16.
Its about page lists COBIS and ECIS membership, a Cambridge International affiliation, and status as an authorised Cambridge Assessment English exam centre. It publishes no fees; the obvious fee URLs on its site return 404.
Global Leaders International School
GLIS has the most explicit Cambridge statement of any school we checked. Its academics page says the school "is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International education to deliver the General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A-Level programs which are internationally recognized by the world's top universities."
It runs a main campus in BGC, Taguig, plus branches at Aseana City and in Cebu City. The Cebu branch is listed on the main site but the site does not publish a Cebu address, and its dedicated page behaved erratically when we tried it — see our Cebu international schools guide for what we could and could not confirm there. GLIS publishes no fee figures; its fees page carries only a sibling discount.
No centre number appears on any GLIS page we read. Ask for it.
The Singapore School network
The Singapore Schools group runs campuses at Paseo de Magallanes in Makati, Clark, a Green Campus at Barangay Balite 2 in Silang, Cavite, Mandaue City in Cebu, and Bacolod. The network page describes a three-stage route: "the Singaporean curriculum for Preschool, Primary and Lower Secondary levels, Cambridge IGCSE for Higher Secondary and the Cambridge International AS/A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Pre University."
That makes it one of the few groups offering both post-16 routes. The Green Campus page states it added the "Cambridge International AS/A Programme" from school year 2023-2024. Singapore School Cebu describes itself as "the first and only campus in Cebu that is both an IB World School and Cambridge International School," and Singapore School Manila states it is "an accredited Cambridge school" as well as an IB World School.
One caution on domains. The web address listed for Singapore School Manila in the IB directory, singaporeschoolsphilippines.com.ph, now serves a redirect page loaded with advertising scripts, not a school site. The working domain is singaporeschools.ph.
None of the campuses publishes annual tuition. Singapore School Cebu publishes one-time charges for SY 2026-2027: a processing fee of ₱10,000 to ₱15,000 by level and a school developmental fee of ₱80,000 to ₱200,000 on entry, roughly US$1,290 to US$3,230.
Domuschola International School
Domuschola, at 13 Jose C. Cruz Street, Barangay Ugong, Pasig, runs the clearest hybrid in the country. Its own Cambridge page states: "we offer a robust Cambridge Programme for our secondary level students, encompassing the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)." CLSP covers Grades 6-8 and IGCSE covers Grades 9-10, which the school describes as preparation "for the rigour of the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12)."
There is no Cambridge A-Level. The route is Cambridge to 16, IB after.
It is also one of the few that publishes tuition. For SY 2026-2027, quarterly in four instalments: ₱62,000 early years, ₱91,400 Grades 1-5, ₱97,000 Grades 6-10, ₱135,800 Grades 11-12. That works out at about ₱248,000 to ₱543,200 a year, roughly US$4,000 to US$8,800, plus one-time matriculation and capital development fees it does not itemise.
Westfields International School
Westfields, at 21-2 Friendship Highway in Angeles City, Pampanga, describes "a globally recognized education from Early Years to Senior High School through the Oxford International Curriculum, CAIE, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme," with lower and upper secondary offering "rigorous academic preparation leading to GCSE examinations." At senior high, students choose "between the pure IBDP or a hybrid IB-DepEd track."
CAIE is Cambridge Assessment International Education, so the Cambridge element is genuine, but the site does not itemise whether that means IGCSE, A-Level or both. Its IB Diploma authorisation is on the IB directory, dated 7 February 2025. Fees are not published; the admissions page asks you to email.
The A-Level gap
Look at the table again and one pattern jumps out. Most Philippine schools that run a British programme stop at IGCSE and switch to the IB Diploma for the final two years. Only CIE British School, Global Leaders International School and the Singapore School network state that they carry students on to Cambridge AS and A Level.
There is a market reason for this. Philippine senior high school is two years, Grades 11 and 12, and the IB Diploma maps onto it cleanly while also being the qualification Philippine universities and DepEd are most used to seeing. A-Level is a smaller, more specialised market.
The practical consequence for a British family: if your child needs A-Levels specifically — for a UK university offer, or because they are mid-course — your Philippine options are narrow and geographically concentrated. False friends
Two things to watch for.
Cambridge in the name. M7 Philippine Cambridge International School in Imus, Cavite carries the word, but its own site presents an IB pathway: the Diploma Programme authorised in August 2025, with PYP and MYP described as candidate programmes. We found no IGCSE and no A-Level anywhere on the site. This is not an accusation of anything; it is a reminder to read the curriculum page rather than the sign.
"International" in the name. In the Philippines this is not a regulated term. A school can be called international and teach the DepEd K-12 curriculum entirely, which several do. The question to ask is which external board sets and marks the exams.
A logo on a footer. Displaying a Cambridge or COBIS logo is not the same as naming the qualifications delivered and the centre number. Several schools we checked showed logos and said nothing else.
What to ask before you enrol
- What is your Cambridge centre number? Get it in writing. It is the single fact that settles everything else.
- Which syllabuses are you registered to deliver this year? Registration is per-syllabus, not blanket.
- Where do students sit the exams? At the school, or at another centre?
- What are the exam entry fees, and are they in the tuition? They usually are not, and they are charged per subject.
- What happens at 16? A-Level, IB Diploma, or a DepEd senior high track, and does the school actually run all of them?
- What has your recent cohort done? Ask for university destinations for the last two years.
