The International School For Children
The International School for Children (TISC) is a non-sectarian private school in Tanza, Cavite that opened on February 2, 2002, founded by eight former teachers of International School Manila: Sarah A. Catis, Aurora Caparas-Corpuz, Evangeline A. Dumlao, Patria G. Jardiniano, Antonia M. Lagra, Vivian V. Lim, Agnes T. Tanada and Esperanza P. Villamor. The school received Philippine government recognition in stages: its Nursery-Kinder-Preparatory program in September 2003, Grades 1-6 in March 2009, and its complete secondary program in February 2008. TISC serves students from Nursery through Junior High School (Grade 10) and does not currently offer a Senior High School program. It follows a curriculum that adheres to Philippine DepEd requirements while maintaining international standards, with English as the medium of instruction, and serves both Filipino and expatriate children. The school occupies a four-storey main building on Antero Soriano Highway in Tanza.
