Pines City Colleges

Nursing Education is my first course. For almost 50 years, you have been fulfilling the aspirations of children and parents. A strong college is one with strong foundation. Please look into curriculum development along with the call of the times. All the best!

During Covid19, all of our classes were online, no matter if you were on campus or off campus. The professors did a very good job of transitioning the classes to an online format, but I would say that nothing compares to true learning in a classroom setting.

this school can not even provide their students a course syllabus. had been requesting my brother to request a course syllabus for ANA 1 and till now nothing. two weeks.

I did not go to Pines City College, but the svhool administration needs to know this. United States particularly the Board of Registered Nursing in the States of California is getting very strict with Filipino nurses who just graduated in the Philippines. Why? because under the law, theory and clinical need to be concurrent. Unfortunately, since a lot of them are what we call there " second courser" which means that had bachelors degree in other field than nursing and decided to pursue a nursing career. A lot of them has been living her for quiet sometime and decided to go back to the Philippines to take their BSN. Guess what? they were again asked to repeat Medical surgical nursing and OB. They spent so much money and ended up repeating it. By looking at their transcripts, why clinicals for fundamentals of nursing, pharmacology happend first before the theory in fundamentals? It shouldn't be like that..My symptahy is for all these Filipino nurses whom I think were fooled by the schools. Their lack of skills and competency show that the school did not provide them a good learning experience. There are a lot of things that they are not allowed to do according to these nurses. For Pines City College, I am begging you guys- please be very careful and don't just collect money from students if you cannot give them the education that they deserve. Please try to do some research about what real nursing is.. I know you've been there as a nursing school for a long time and you should know, but apparently you don't... Our reputation as Filipino nurses is getting damage because of what is happenning there.
