TL;DR: Jocson College in Angeles City is an aviation and hospitality school with a basic education ladder underneath it. College is five programmes: Aircraft Maintenance Technology and Aviation Electronics Technology, each with a two-year ladderised exit, plus BS Tourism Management, BS Management Accounting and BS Entrepreneurship. None leads to a PRC board exam. Unusually, the college publishes an itemised fee schedule, so you can see the actual numbers before you call.
Jocson College is on 1st Street, Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga. Contacts and location are on the Jocson College profile. Everything below comes from the college's own website.

The aviation core, and what "ladderised" means here
The two aviation degrees are the point of this school. The Institute of Aviation lists its facilities as hangar, powerplant, avionics, airframe and simulator laboratories, and gives "mastery of CAAP and international aviation regulations" as a stated programme objective. The college also cites an agreement with OMNI Aviation and a partnership involving Lufthansa and SIAEP.
The ladderised structure is worth understanding before you enrol. Each four-year degree carries a two-year version underneath it. A student can complete two years, exit with a technical qualification, work, and return for the bachelor's without restarting. That matters in aviation maintenance, where hands-on hours count and where the pay gap between year two and year four is not always what a student expects.
The career outcomes the college lists for AMT are aircraft maintenance technician or mechanic covering airframe and powerplant, air force mechanic, line and base maintenance, maintenance planner or inspector, and aviation technical support. For AET the list runs avionics technician, navigation and communication systems technician, aerospace electronics technician, and technical support, with "stepping stone to commercial pilot" also named.
Take that last one carefully. An avionics degree is not a pilot licence and does not include flight training toward one. It gives you an aviation career and an aviation employer, which can fund or shorten a later flying path, but the two are distinct. If flying is the goal, our guides to aviation as a degree sets out the actual route, which runs through a CAAP-approved flying school and a separate licence.
Nothing here leads to a PRC board exam
This is the single most important thing to understand about the college list, and it is easy to misread.
BS Management Accounting is not BS Accountancy. It is a management and cost accounting degree, and it does not lead to the CPA Licensure Examination. The outcomes Jocson lists for it are management accountant, financial analyst, cost accountant, internal auditor and accounting or business analyst, all of which are unlicensed roles. If your plan is to become a CPA, this is not the degree, and no amount of good performance in it substitutes.
BS Tourism Management and BS Entrepreneurship are likewise unlicensed, which is normal for both.
The aviation programmes sit under a different regulator entirely. Aircraft maintenance work in the Philippines is licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, not the PRC. Our directory record lists CAAP against this school. That is the credential chain to ask about: which of the programmes hold current CAAP approval, and what CAAP licence a graduate is eligible to pursue. Get that answer from the college in writing. Our guide to courses with no board exam explains how unlicensed degrees are evaluated instead.
The published fee schedule
Very few Philippine colleges publish a real fee table. Jocson does, itemised by programme and year level, split into first and second semester. First-year figures from its finance page:
| Programme | 1st semester total | 2nd semester total |
|---|---|---|
| Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance Technology | P43,445 | P41,795 |
| Bachelor in Aviation Electronics Technology | P39,995 | P40,645 |
| Bachelor in Tourism Management | P21,820 | P22,320 |
| Bachelor in Tourism Management (Non-ABM) | P24,242 | P24,742 |
| Bachelor in Management Accounting | P30,020 | P30,370 |
| Bachelor in Entrepreneurship | P27,020 | P27,370 |
The itemisation is where the useful detail sits. First-year AMT breaks down as tuition for 30 units at P31,050, NSTP P1,725, registration P1,000, miscellaneous P3,000, laboratory P5,670, flight simulator P1,000, with a P350 nameplate in the second semester. AET runs 27 units at P1,150 per unit. Tourism runs 18 units at P807.18 per unit in first year, rising to P907.18 in third year.
Three observations. First, the aviation premium is real and it is not mostly tuition: the P5,670 laboratory fee and the P1,000 flight simulator fee are what separate a P43,445 semester from a P21,820 one. Second, the "Non-ABM" tourism track costs more because it carries more units, 21 instead of 18 in first year, which is a bridging load for students who did not take ABM at senior high. Third, later years are cheaper as the unit load drops: fourth-year AMT falls to P27,550 and P19,800.
The published tables cover the college programmes. Senior high and basic education fee schedules are marked as coming soon on the same page, so those still have to be requested.

Scholarships and discounts
For college students the school lists:
- Academic Excellence Scholarship, for the top five per year level each semester and for top-performing first-year students on enrolment
- Leadership Grant, for recognised campus leaders and student council officers
- Performing Arts Grant, for active members of the Center for Learning and Development for Culture, Arts and Sports
- Student Assistantship Program, work in exchange for support
- Government-linked grants in partnership with CHED, TDP and other agencies
- Solo-Parent Financial Assistance Program, need-based
- Employee dependants discount
For K-12:
- Academic Honor Scholarship, for students in the top ten of their previous grade level
- Voucher Program, for ESC and SHS voucher-eligible students
- Sibling Discount, for two or more enrolled siblings
The scholarship amounts are not published, only the categories, so ask what each is worth as a percentage and what grade you have to hold to keep it. If you are entering Grade 11, the voucher is likely to be the largest single item, and our SHS voucher programme guide covers how it is applied against a private school bill.
Admission requirements
College, for freshmen, transferees and returning students:
- Original Form 138 or report card from the previous school
- PSA-authenticated birth certificate, photocopy
- Certificate of Good Moral Character, original
- Two copies of a 2x2 ID photo on white background
- Transferees: honourable dismissal and transcript of records
K-12, for junior and senior high:
- The same four items, plus an SHS voucher certificate where applicable
Both routes run through the school's online enrolment systems, one for college and a separate one for K-12. The college also lists staggered enrolment for second, third and fourth-year aviation students, so returning-student dates are separate from freshman dates. Ask for the calendar rather than assuming a single window.
What to check before you commit
- Which programmes hold current CAAP approval, and what licence a graduate can sit for
- Whether the two-year ladderised route credits fully into the four-year degree at this school
- How many students share each hangar or avionics station in practice
- What the senior high and basic education fees are, since those tables are not published
- Whether the STEM-TEAM strand at senior high gives any advantage in admission to the aviation degrees
- For BS Tourism Management: what the hospitality immersion placements are, and whether students bear the cost
