TL;DR — FEU Roosevelt Marikina runs five tertiary programmes: Multimedia Arts, Business Administration, Information Technology, Psychology and a two-year Associate in Computer Technology. Education, hospitality and tourism are at the Cainta campus, not Marikina. The school publishes scholarship percentages down to the decimal and publishes no tuition figure at all.
The address, contacts and level flags are on the FEU Roosevelt Marikina profile, and the wider local picture is on the Marikina schools page and in our best private schools in Marikina round-up. This post is about what the programme list means in practice.
First: which FEU is this?
FEU Roosevelt sits inside the FEU group but it is not FEU Manila. It operates as Roosevelt College, Inc. — that is the account name on its own payment page — and it runs its own admissions, its own programme list and its own scholarship scheme across three campuses in Marikina, Cainta and Rodriguez. Applying to FEU Manila does not get you into Roosevelt, and the Roosevelt course list is much shorter than the Manila one. If you were looking at the Manila catalogue, our FEU programmes guide covers that separately.
What Marikina actually runs
FEU Roosevelt publishes its tertiary programmes by campus, and the Marikina list is:
- Bachelor of Multimedia Arts (BMMA)
- BS Business Administration (BSBA)
- BS Information Technology (BSIT)
- BS Psychology (BSPsy) — marked on the site as a new programme
- Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) — two years
That is a computing-and-business campus with a creative arm, and it is worth reading it that way. Three of the five programmes are digital: multimedia arts, IT and the two-year ACT. None of the five ends in a Professional Regulation Commission licensure exam, with one partial exception — a BS Psychology graduate can sit the psychometrician licensure exam without a master's degree, which is the only regulated exit on this campus. Our BS Psychology guide explains the ladder above it.
The others are portfolio and internship degrees. For Multimedia Arts, the work you can show at graduation is the credential; nobody hires an animator on a transcript. Information Technology hires on projects and certifications. Business Administration hires on internships and first-job performance. That is not a criticism of the campus, but it does change what you should be doing in years two and three, which is building something you can show.
The Associate in Computer Technology is the piece worth flagging. It is a two-year qualification, not a bachelor's degree, and it is aimed at people who want to be employable quickly or who want to test whether computing suits them before committing four years. Some students ladder it into BSIT afterwards; ask the registrar directly how many units carry over before you assume they do.
What is at Cainta, not Marikina
This is the single most common mistake with FEU Roosevelt. The Cainta campus carries a different and larger list:
- BS Hospitality Management
- BS Tourism Management
- BS Psychology
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Secondary Education, with majors
- BS Business Administration, with majors
So the four teaching-track and hospitality routes — early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education, hospitality and tourism — are Cainta programmes. If you live in Marikina and want to become a teacher through FEU Roosevelt, that is a daily commute to Sumulong Highway, and you should price that in before you enrol rather than after.
Cainta also lists BSBA "with majors" while Marikina lists BSBA without them. Ask which majors run at which campus in the current year; a major that appears on a website is not always a section that opens.
Graduate studies
Three programmes, published as a group rather than by campus:
- Master of Arts in Education (MAEd)
- Master in Business Administration (MBA), run as an FEU extension programme
- Teacher Certificate Program
The Teacher Certificate Program is the useful one to know about. It is the route for someone who already holds a non-education bachelor's degree and wants to qualify to teach, and it is a much shorter path than taking a second full degree.
Basic education, and the strand question
FEU Roosevelt runs Developmental Kindergarten for four-year-olds, Kindergarten for five-year-olds, Grades 1 to 6, Grades 7 to 10 and Grades 11 to 12, plus a homeschooling programme covering DK to Grade 10. For School Year 2025-2026 it announced the pilot of the strengthened senior high school curriculum for Grade 11, with academic and TechPro pathways.
What the site does not publish is which specific strands run at which campus. That is not a small gap — a strand list is the first thing a Grade 10 family needs, and FEU Roosevelt makes you ask for it. Put it at the top of your call list. Our senior high school enrolment guide covers what else to check.
What FEU Roosevelt publishes about money, and what it does not
The scholarship page is unusually specific, which is welcome. Published figures:
| Grant | Published benefit |
|---|---|
| Academic scholarship, continuing students | Top 1: 100%, Top 2: 75%, Top 3: 50% of basic tuition |
| Entrance scholarship, tertiary | Top 1 up to 100%, Top 2 up to 75%, Top 3 up to 50%; ranks 4-10 and 11-20 also covered, all scaled to batch size |
| Cash or full payment | 2.5% |
| Child of alumni | 5% |
| Alumni or loyalty, SHS into tertiary | 10% |
| Sibling, youngest only | 10% |
| Public school teachers | 50% |
| Private school teachers | 25% |
| Person with disability | 20% |
| Armed forces personnel | 50% |
Two things to note. The entrance scholarship percentages scale with the size of your graduating batch — a top 1 finish only reaches 100 percent where the batch had at least 50 students — and FEU Roosevelt requires a ranking certificate stating both your rank and the total number of students. Get that certificate from your previous school before you apply, not after.
No tuition figure is published anywhere on the site. The payment options page lists channels — BDO online and over-the-counter under institution code 0816, an RCBC deposit account, GCash bank transfer, and international remittance via BDO for students in the Middle East — but no amounts and no installment schedule. Percentages off an unpublished number are not a price, so email [email protected] or call the Marikina campus and ask for a written assessment for your exact level and programme.
The third campus, and why it matters to the list
FEU Roosevelt runs a Rodriguez campus in Barangay Manggahan, Rizal, alongside Marikina and Cainta. The tertiary programme pages list programmes for Marikina and Cainta only, which suggests Rodriguez is basic education, but the site does not say so outright. If you live closer to Rodriguez than to Marikina, that is the first thing to establish on a call, because a wrong assumption there costs you a daily commute across two municipalities.
The three-campus structure is also why the school's own materials keep saying "across all campuses" for basic education and then split the list for college. Read every programme page as campus-specific unless it explicitly says otherwise.
Who this school actually suits
Being direct about it: FEU Roosevelt Marikina works well for two groups and poorly for a third.
It works for a Marikina family staying in one school from kindergarten to a degree. The alumni and loyalty discount of 10 percent for a senior high student continuing into tertiary is designed for exactly that, and the DK-to-Grade-12 ladder plus a college on the same street removes the transfer friction that costs most families a year of settling in.
It works for someone aiming at digital work who wants a nearby campus. Multimedia arts, IT and ACT on one site in Marikina is a reasonable offer, and the commute saving over a Manila campus is real money over four years.
It works less well if your target course is licensed. Marikina's only regulated exit is the psychometrician route through BS Psychology, and that programme is new here. If you want nursing, accountancy, engineering or teaching, you are looking at a different campus or a different school entirely, and it is better to work that out now than in second year.
What to ask on a campus visit
- Which senior high strands actually run at Marikina this year, not which are listed.
- For ACT: how many units transfer into BSIT, in writing.
- For BS Psychology, being new at Marikina: how many year levels are currently running, and who teaches the major subjects.
- The full fee assessment including miscellaneous and laboratory fees, not just tuition.
- Whether your scholarship percentage applies to basic tuition only or to the whole assessment.
