College of the Holy Spirit of Tarlac (CHST)
College of the Holy Spirit of Tarlac (CHST), despite its name, is a K-12 basic education school in San Sebastian Village, Tarlac City, run by the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSpS). It traces its roots to 1939, when it was founded as Catholic Academy of Tarlac before being renamed Holy Ghost Institute, then Holy Spirit Academy, and finally College of the Holy Spirit of Tarlac when college courses were added in 1968. It offers Kindergarten, Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School, which opened in 2015. Its Grade School and High School departments hold PAASCU Level III re-accredited status. The College Department was discontinued in December 2020, with Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Business Administration the last programs to finish; CHST currently offers no tertiary degree programs despite "College" in its name.
