It's truly a unique experience to revisit your alma mater, and it sounds like your return to Roosevelt College Marikina brought forth a mix of emotions. It's wonderful that you still hold fond memories of it as a "nice school" where you spent your elementary and high school years. That long history undoubtedly makes the changes you observed even more poignant. The most striking difference you've noted, and one that often fundamentally alters a school's atmosphere, is the "few students." This can indeed make a once-bustling campus feel unfamiliar, even "alien," as you put it. The vibrancy of a school is often tied to the energy and presence of its student body. A lower student count can impact: * Campus Ambiance: The hallways might be quieter, the canteen less crowded, and the playing fields less active than you remember. * Extracurriculars: Fewer students can sometimes mean fewer participants in clubs, sports, or school events, changing the dynamic of these activities. * Community Feel: The close-knit community you might have experienced as a student, fostered by a large peer group, might feel different with a smaller population. It's natural for institutions to evolve. Schools, like any organization, adapt to changing times, demographics, and educational landscapes. While the physical structures might evoke nostalgia, the living, breathing heart of the school—its students and daily life—is what often undergoes the most significant transformation. Despite these changes, the foundation of your memories and experiences from Roosevelt College Marikina remains. It's still the place where you grew up, learned, and formed lasting memories. Your feeling of it being "alien" now is a testament to how much things have shifted, yet your enduring sentiment of it being a "nice school" speaks volumes about its positive impact on your formative years.

(4th edition, May 5, 2023) They are well known as one among the top and affordable private schools in Metro Manila in 2001-2005. Their teachings are holistic, competitive and philosophical which are a good foundation for basic secondary education and value-for-money for hard-working parents of Marikina. Roosevelt College which is now FEU Roosevelt Marikina becomes part of Marikina culture and heritage. Based on a 2001-2005 high school experiences, Roosevelt had controlled environment, appropriate number of student-classroom ratio, non-religious setting, gymnasium, science laboratories, speech laboratory, computer laboratories, home economics laboratory, big library and audio-visual room. Their computer and mathematics basic to intermediate skills trainings were worth it. For example, they provided statistics, trigonometry, research, MS-office applications and even Calculus. They provided also leadership enhancement.
