TL;DR: Asia Pacific College publishes no tuition figure of any kind — no per-unit rate, no per-programme assessment, no fee schedule. What it does publish is a detailed subsidy matrix running from 20 percent to 100 percent and a trimester calendar. The trimester point is the one that trips people up: APC charges across three terms a year, not two, so any "per semester" estimate you have been given is describing a structure APC does not use.
Everything below is from APC's own pages. Where a number is not published, this guide says so instead of inventing one.
The gap, stated plainly
APC's website is large — around 170 published pages covering every school, every programme, a full student handbook broken into office-by-office playbooks, and a registrar section with dated enrolment schedules. Within all of that:
- There is no tuition page.
- The Finance Office playbook page exists in the handbook but carries no fee content.
- The Reservation Payment Channels page exists in the admissions menu but publishes no amount.
- No programme page — architecture, computing, engineering, management, multimedia arts, senior high or graduate school — carries a cost.
So the honest answer to "how much is APC" is: APC has not said, and you have to ask. It publishes two admissions direct lines and an admissions email for exactly that. Treat any peso figure you find in a forum or an aggregator listing as unverified, because APC has published nothing for it to be checked against.
That includes figures attached to APC on directory sites, ours included where they are marked as estimates. An estimate is not a rate.
The trimester problem
This is the part worth reading twice, because it silently breaks most budgeting.
APC's registrar page schedules enrolment by trimester. Its most recent published cycle reads: online enrolment for College and Graduate School for the third trimester of the academic year, opening of classes for that third trimester, a load revision period, and a last day of late enrolment. Its leave of absence policy reinforces the structure — an approved leave "is valid only for a maximum of three (3) consecutive trimesters."
Three consequences:
- Three payment cycles a year, not two. If someone quotes you a per-semester figure for APC, they have converted from a different school's structure. The conversion is not a simple halving or thirding, because per-term unit loads differ.
- Terms are shorter. A trimester compresses the same subject into fewer weeks, which affects working students and anyone planning around a part-time job.
- Deadlines come around faster. Late enrolment, load revision and leave-of-absence filing all recur three times a year.
Senior high school runs on a related structure APC calls "5+1": five terms of foundational study across Grades 11 and 12, then one term dedicated to intensive application of learning. Six academic pathways are chosen in Grade 11, Term 1.
What APC does publish: the subsidy matrix
This is the substantive part of APC's fee disclosure, and it is unusually detailed for a Philippine private college. Each row carries two percentages — a subsidy figure and a MISC figure, meaning miscellaneous fees are discounted separately from tuition.

The 50 percent public-school grant is the largest broadly available discount APC publishes, and its condition is straightforward: you must not have attended any college or university before.

The SM connection is not incidental. APC was established in 1991 through a partnership between IBM Philippines and the SM Foundation, and the SM Group backs it to this day.
Reading the matrix properly
Three cautions. Applicability notes matter — several rows exclude senior high school students. Documentation is specific and slow: the uniformed-services grants need original endorsement letters from named national offices, and the socialized grant needs a parent's or guardian's latest income tax return, or a certificate of employment stating date hired, salary and position where no ITR exists. APC does not publish whether grants stack, so ask.
Why the free tuition law does not help here
RA 10931 makes tuition and thirteen other school fees free for eligible Filipino undergraduates — but UniFAST is explicit that the covered institutions are state universities and colleges and CHED-recognised local universities and colleges. What you are paying for at APC is a specific thing: CHED Center of Excellence status in IT education, Center of Development status in computer engineering, and CHED autonomous status. Whether that premium is worth it is a judgement, but it is at least a concrete one.
What to ask admissions, in order
Since the numbers are not published, make the call efficient:
- What is the assessment per trimester for the specific programme, at the standard first-year load?
- How many trimesters per academic year will I be billed for in year one?
- What is the reservation payment, is it deductible from the first assessment, and is it refundable?
- Which items sit outside tuition — laboratory, technology, insurance, internship, capstone?
- Do grants stack? Can a public-school graduate discount combine with a sibling discount?
- Is the grant renewable each trimester, and what grade does renewal require?
- Is there an entrance exam, and does it carry a fee? The published application procedure lists documents only.
The documents, so the call is not wasted
APC does publish its application requirements. For incoming college freshmen: original Grade 12 report card, photocopy of the PSA birth certificate, original certificate of good moral character, and a photocopy of the Grade 12 diploma. Grade 11 applicants substitute the Grade 10 equivalents. Transferees and second-degree applicants add a certificate of honorable dismissal and course descriptions for accreditation. Foreign applicants add a passport, student visa and documents authenticated by the Philippine embassy in the country of origin, in English. Graduate applicants add a resumé, personal essay, recommendation letters and a certified true copy of the transcript.
Who APC suits on cost
A student aiming at computing, computer engineering, multimedia arts or business who qualifies for one of the larger discounts — the 50 percent public-school grant, an AFP or PCG scheme, or an SM Foundation scholarship — because that is where APC's published aid becomes decisive rather than marginal. A student paying the full, unpublished rate should get the assessment in writing before committing, and should model it across three trimesters rather than two.
