Good school however needs to improve its facilities and campus plus more lighting around outside the campus for students safety

I sent an email and called your treasury office last September 8, 2025, regarding the refund process. I was informed that I needed to contact ECpay, and that they would send me a text message with the refund instructions. While waiting for this message, I also reached out to both GCash and ECpay to explore other ways to process the refund. It is now September 18, and I still have not received any message or update. I decided to call your office again, and the same person I spoke to earlier answered. She told me they would resend the process. I waited again, but nothing came. I called once more to follow up after waiting 10 days, and this time, an older man answered the phone. I tried to explain my concern and ask for the instructions, but he kept interrupting me and explaining the refund process instead of simply providing the steps I needed. All I wanted was the actual process, not repeated explanations. Out of frustration, I ended the call and called again, asking if I could speak without being interrupted. I clarified that I only needed the text message they were supposed to send. The man then told me his employee would send it, but when I expressed how long I had already waited, he insisted it would be sent "within the day"—something that could have been done 10 days ago. He then mentioned something about changing their number, and his employee took over the call. Shockingly, I heard him in the background say “tanga,” which is extremely unprofessional and offensive. I explained my concern once again to the employee and told her I would stay on the line while waiting for the process to be sent. She insisted that I had no choice but to wait—possibly a day or even a month—and then hung up the call. This entire experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I am simply requesting the proper steps to complete my refund, and after multiple calls and follow-ups, I am still being left without any clear resolution. I hope this matter can be addressed seriously and promptly.

I paid the application fee but never heard any update regarding my exam for one of their MSc programs. As I opened the student portal, I was given instructions on how to complete the new student clearance for senior high school. Based on the other reviews I saw here, it's enough for someone to decide not to push through with their application to this school.

Sources: a friend; first-hand observations This school is a joke. The Registrar's Office is unresponsive and takes forever to process documents for delivery. The professors are unprofessional and hardly worth being called teachers. The school can do a much better job filtering out problematic staff if they really wanted to, but it was evident that they do not have the incentive to do so. My friend have already transferred schools to leave behind this school but up until now, the incompetence reaches out and is causing problems. I considered transferring here to continue my studies but I am glad I did not. Please do not patronize schools that do not uphold solid standards toward the students, the staff, and the school itself. You can choose better than this.

MCL is one of the first to use electronics for studies. During my time as a student it was a great experience. But now as an alumni they don't really show much interest in providing services to you. The registrar doesn't read messages in their email. They also don't answer the phone. Sometimes it rings but after that it's unreachable. I know they're understaffed. But they answer 2-3 days after I call other offices. Please do better. Don't make online requests if you don't accommodate them. It's about my records and they should prioritize documents especially with deadlines. It's not just me.
