PHINMA Araullo University publishes 27 freshman degree options and, unusually for a Philippine private university, a public tuition figure for every single one. The 2026-2027 first-semester range runs ₱22,370 to ₱35,940. What the site does not tell you clearly is that the three campuses offer different colleges, so the course you want may not be at the campus nearest you.
Most Philippine universities make you email an admissions officer to learn what a course costs. PHINMA Araullo University does not. Its Freshmen Tuition Calculator lists every programme with a first-semester figure attached, which makes it one of the easier schools in Central Luzon to compare against a budget before you visit.
This post covers what those programmes are, what each leads to, and the campus split that the programme pages gloss over. Address, phone numbers and the basic profile are on our PHINMA Araullo University page, and other options in the city are on our schools in Cabanatuan listing.
The three campuses do not offer the same thing
This is the first thing to sort out, because the academics page organises programmes by college rather than by degree, and the campus split is easy to miss.
| Campus | Colleges listed |
|---|---|
| Main (Brgy. Bitas, Cabanatuan) | Management and Accountancy, Education and Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice Education, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences |
| South (Brgy. H. Concepcion Sr., Cabanatuan) | Management and Accountancy, Education and Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice Education, Engineering, Information Technology, Allied Health Sciences |
| San Jose (San Jose City) | Management and Accountancy, Education and Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice Education |
Two practical consequences. Information Technology appears only under South Campus. And if you are in San Jose City, the only colleges there are business, education and criminal justice, so engineering, nursing, pharmacy and medical laboratory science mean travelling to Cabanatuan.
The calculator does carry one San Jose-specific entry, "BS Nursing for San Jose (New Curriculum)", which suggests nursing is either running or being introduced there under a separate curriculum. That contradiction between the academics page and the calculator is worth a direct question to the admissions office rather than an assumption either way.
Every freshman programme, with the published first-semester tuition
These are the figures PHINMA Araullo's own calculator returns for first semester SY 2026-2027, before any scholarship is applied. They are tuition only. The calculator separately notes an estimated ₱3,000 for books and uniforms.
College of Management and Accountancy
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| BS Accountancy | ₱25,458 |
| BS Accounting Information System (formerly Accounting Technology) | ₱25,138 |
| BS Management Accounting | ₱25,138 |
| BS Entrepreneurship | ₱24,560 |
| BSBA - Banking and Microfinance | ₱24,560 |
| BSBA - Financial Management | ₱24,560 |
| BSBA - Human Resource Management | ₱24,560 |
| BSBA - Marketing Management | ₱24,560 |
| BS Hospitality Management (formerly HRM) | ₱25,060 |
| BS Tourism Management | ₱25,060 |
Only BS Accountancy here leads to a licensure examination, and it is the hardest of the group. The other accountancy-family degrees, Accounting Information System and Management Accounting, are non-board programmes despite the similar names. Our BS Accountancy guide explains what separates them.
College of Education and Liberal Arts
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| AB English Language | ₱24,560 |
| AB Political Science | ₱22,370 |
| Bachelor of Early Childhood Education | ₱24,560 |
| Bachelor of Elementary Education | ₱24,560 |
| BSED - English | ₱24,560 |
| BSED - Filipino | ₱24,560 |
| BSED - Math | ₱24,560 |
| BSED - Science | ₱24,560 |
| BS Psychology | ₱22,390 |
AB Political Science is the cheapest programme on the whole list. The education degrees all lead to the Licensure Examination for Teachers, and the four BSEd majors are the only specialisations offered, so if you want to teach Social Studies or MAPEH you are looking at a different school. Our BEEd guide and BSEd guide cover what each qualification actually licenses you to teach.
BS Psychology sits in this college rather than in a science or arts college. It leads to the Psychometrician licensure exam at bachelor level; see our BS Psychology guide.
College of Criminal Justice Education
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| BS Criminology | ₱23,110 |
One programme, and it is the school's strongest public claim. PHINMA Araullo's own news pages carry posts about an alumna topping the July 2024 Criminology board exam and about the school's standing in Region III. Criminology is offered on all three campuses. Our BS Criminology guide covers the licensure route.
College of Engineering
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| BS Civil Engineering | ₱25,960 |
| BS Electrical Engineering | ₱28,620 |
Two engineering programmes only. Both lead to PRC licensure. Note that electrical is the more expensive of the two by ₱2,660 per semester, which over four years is not trivial.
College of Information Technology
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| BS Information Technology | ₱26,960 |
BSIT is a non-board course. There is no BS Computer Science and no BS Computer Engineering in the calculator list, so if you want either of those, this is not the school.
College of Allied Health Sciences
| Programme | 1st sem tuition |
|---|---|
| BS Nursing | ₱32,250 |
| BS Nursing for San Jose (New Curriculum) | ₱35,940 |
| BS Pharmacy | ₱34,480 |
| BS Medical Laboratory Science | ₱32,379 |
The four most expensive programmes at the university, all of them board courses. The gap between the cheapest programme on campus and BS Nursing at San Jose is ₱13,570 per semester, so the course you choose matters more to your bill than the school you choose. Our BS Nursing guide and BS Pharmacy guide cover the licensure paths, and board exam passing rates by course gives you national context.
How the payment structure actually works
The calculator offers weekly or monthly payment. Read that carefully: it divides the semester tuition by 20 for the weekly option and by 5 for the monthly option. So a ₱24,560 programme works out to about ₱1,228 per week or ₱4,912 per month, for the length of one semester, and then the cycle repeats for the second semester.
This is the PHINMA model and it is the reason the network positions itself as accessible. It is not a discount. It is the same amount spread thinner.
Scholarships
PHINMA Araullo publishes a list of nine scholarship and discount schemes:
- PHINMA Scholarship
- Hawak Kamay Scholarship
- Educational Discount for Government Employees (EDGE)
- Solo Parent Discount
- Alumni Discount
- Kapamilya Discount
- Student Assistantship Scholarship
- Scholarship Benefit for Employee Dependents
- AUCSC financial assistance
The Hawak Kamay Scholarship is described on the same page as a 50 percent discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees for financially challenged students. The tuition calculator carries scholarship tiers labelled HK5.5, HK7.5, HK10 and HK17.5, and it disables some tiers depending on the programme selected, so not every Hawak Kamay level applies to every course. The site does not explain what the numbers mean. Ask.
For the government route, note that PHINMA Araullo is a private university, so the CHED free tuition law does not apply, but the Tertiary Education Subsidy might. Our CHED free tuition guide explains which students in private schools are eligible for what.
Senior high school
The university runs Senior High School alongside the college programmes, with these strands listed: ABM, ABM with Hospitality and Tourism, STEM, STEM with Health, General Academic Strand, GAS with Criminology, GAS with Education, GAS with I.T., HUMSS, and TVL Home Economics at the San Jose campus only.
The GAS variants are the interesting part. GAS with Criminology, GAS with Education and GAS with I.T. are effectively feeder strands into the university's own college programmes. If you already know you want criminology, that pathway is worth asking about. Our guide to SHS tracks and strands covers how strand choice constrains college options elsewhere.
Enrolment
The admission page splits into three streams, incoming senior high school, incoming freshmen, and transferees, and publishes an eight-step official enrolment sequence: profiling and scholarship tagging with the Marketing Department, logging in to the SIS to update your profile, paying the down payment online or onsite, subject enlistment, printing the ORF, ID and email creation, module distribution, then books and uniform distribution.
Scholarship tagging happening at step one is the part to plan for. Turn up with your documents already in hand rather than discovering at the cashier that you needed them.
