Ateneo de Davao University publishes its programme list through its own admissions portal, grouped into clusters rather than colleges. The list carries two genuinely uncommon engineering degrees, a full set of interdisciplinary tracks, and one programme you will not find in most of the country. It also runs an admission process with a step most universities skip: everyone goes through a programme interview.
This post covers the programmes as the university lists them, the entrance and enrolment mechanics, and the money rules that actually cost students. Location and contacts sit on the Ateneo de Davao University profile.
Social Sciences
- Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies minor in Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology
- Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
- Bachelor of Arts major in Economics
- Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science
- Bachelor of Arts major in Sociology
- Bachelor of Arts in International Studies major in American Studies
- Bachelor of Arts in International Studies major in Asian Studies
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology
- Bachelor of Science in Social Work
AB Islamic Studies minor in Education is the standout and reflects where the university sits. Social Work is a PRC-licensed profession, and so is psychology at the psychometrician and psychologist levels. Ateneo de Davao offers psychology as both AB and BS, and the two are not interchangeable for licensure purposes; our guide on the difference between BS and AB Psychology explains why.
Humanities and Letters
- Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy
- Bachelor of Arts in Communication
- Bachelor of Arts in English Language
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Language and Literature
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Media and Business
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Media and Philosophy
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Media and Technology
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Philosophy and Theology
Five separate Interdisciplinary Studies combinations is unusual. If you are drawn to one of them, be aware you are choosing the minor pairing at application, not later.
Business Administration
- Bachelor of Public Management
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management
- Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship
- Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship major in Agri-Business
- Bachelor of Science in Finance
- Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development and Management
- Bachelor of Science in Marketing
Note that Ateneo de Davao splits its business degrees into named degrees such as BS Finance and BS Marketing rather than running one BSBA with majors. Practically that means the degree on your diploma is more specific than at most universities. None of these carries a licensure exam.
Accountancy
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting
Accountancy is the CPA route; management accounting is not. Our BS Accountancy guide sets out what the licensure path requires.
Education
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English
- Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics
- Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science
- Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies
All of these lead toward the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
Computer Studies
- Bachelor of Science in Data Science
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
BS Data Science as a standalone degree rather than a track inside computer science is still uncommon in the Philippines, and none of the four programmes in this cluster carries a licensure exam.
Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- Bachelor of Science in Biology major in General Biology
- Bachelor of Science in Biology major in Medical Biology
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
The Medical Biology major is the pre-medicine track here, which matters because Ateneo de Davao does not offer a medical degree of its own. If medicine is the goal, you finish the bachelor's degree here and apply to a medical school elsewhere.
Engineering and Architecture
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (Academic Research)
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (Industry and Technopreneurship)
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management)
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural)
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Transportation)
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering
This is the most distinctive cluster in the list. Aerospace Engineering in two tracks and Robotics Engineering are both rare nationally, and the civil engineering degree is split into three named tracks you choose at entry.
On licensure, read this carefully. The Professional Regulation Commission maintains boards for architecture and for chemical, civil, electrical, electronics and mechanical engineering. It does not maintain a board for computer engineering, industrial engineering or robotics engineering. The commission does maintain a board for Aeronautical Engineering, but Ateneo de Davao's degree is titled Aerospace Engineering, which is a different programme name. If your plan is to become a licensed aeronautical engineer, ask the college directly whether its aerospace curriculum qualifies graduates to sit that examination before you enrol, and get the answer in writing. Our BS Aeronautical Engineering guide explains the licensed profession as it exists.
Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Graduate programmes and the Law School
Ateneo de Davao's graduate school is grouped the same way. Arts and Sciences carries master's degrees in Information Technology, Anthropology, Development Studies, English, Economics, Guidance and Counseling, Philosophy, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Social Work, plus PhDs in Clinical Psychology and Development Studies. Business and Governance carries the MBA in several forms including a non-thesis track and an Accelerated Program for Executives, a Master in Public Administration in local government and public policy variants, and doctorates in Business Administration, Management (Human Resource Management) and Public Administration. Education carries MA Education in basic education English, mathematics and science, MA Teaching English Language and Literature, MA Education in Education Administration, and PhDs in basic and higher education administration. Engineering and Architecture carries Master of Engineering degrees in civil, computer, electronics and communications, mechanical and industrial engineering, plus innovation management and renewable energy. Nursing carries the MA in Nursing and the Master in Nursing. There is also a standalone Master in Tropical Risk Management under disaster risk reduction management.
The Law School operates separately with its own admission process.
How admission and enrolment actually work
Ateneo de Davao publishes a seven-step enrolment sequence, and the order matters because you cannot skip ahead.
- Registration. Fill in the online form to register for the Qualifying Exam for Ateneo College (QEAC). Applicants who have not registered are directed to the encoding area on campus, and are warned to use the email address they registered with for the QEAC.
- Document validation. Bring originals and one photocopy of each document for checking.
- Interview. Proceed to the assigned interviewer for your programme, carrying your QEAC result and a copy of your report card.
- RFID photo and signature at the Office of Student Affairs.
- Physical examination and medical clearance, with laboratory results in hand.
- Payment of tuition and fees, online or at the Finance Office.
- Claiming the RFID, after which ADDUnet account credentials are emailed.
The documents differ by applicant type. New students bring the original Grade 12 report card, an original certificate of good moral character, a PSA birth certificate and laboratory test results. Transferees bring an original honorable dismissal, certificate of good moral character, original transcript of records for evaluation, PSA birth certificate and laboratory results. Foreign applicants additionally bring an authenticated birth certificate or family registration, a valid study visa and passport with the bio page and latest arrival stamp, authenticated financial support at least equivalent to US$3,500.00, and ten 2x2 photographs.
Pay attention to the laboratory validity windows the university specifies: CBC and urinalysis are valid for one month, chest X-ray for six months. Getting tests done too early is a common and avoidable reason for having to repeat them. Our college admission requirements checklist covers the documents that recur across schools.
Enrolment dates move each cycle. For AY 2026-2027 the university block-enrolled its own senior high school graduating batch first and opened general enrolment afterwards, with separate application windows for its Grant-in-Aid, Jubilee Scholarship Fund and Working Scholarship programmes. Check the current dates on the university's enrolment page rather than assuming the same pattern holds.
The money rules worth knowing before you enrol
Ateneo de Davao does not publish a public per-programme tuition table; the Finance Office assesses fees. What it does publish, clearly, is the policy layer around payment, and this is where students lose money without realising it.
- Full payment discount. A student who pays in full before the start of classes, and who also pays in full for any subjects added during the adding and dropping period, gets a five percent discount on tuition.
- Late registration fee of ₱100.00 for failing to enrol or validate a registration form within the enrolment period.
- Adding and dropping penalties. Failing to submit the adding or dropping form to the Finance Office within the period carries a ₱500.00 penalty, and a student who drops a subject without submitting the dropping form on time is charged full tuition and fees on the dropped subject.
- Withdrawal charges scale with timing: ₱250.00 before classes start, 10 percent of the total assessment within the first week, 25 percent within the second and third weeks, 50 percent within the fourth and fifth weeks, 75 percent within the sixth week, and 100 percent after the sixth week.
- Bounced cheques carry a ₱500.00 penalty, with payment due in cash within three days, and the university stops accepting cheques from students with a dishonoured cheque record.
- Refunds of excess tuition are issued by cheque to a parent or legal guardian, requested by the parent or guardian, and unclaimed excess is applied to the next semester automatically.
On the headline number, the university issued an official statement that for School Year 2026-2027 there would be no tuition and fees increase across all units, with installment options to be announced separately.
