It’s actually a really good school once you understand why the admins are so strict, and as for extracurriculars, the school has added some. They added Brigade and Ensemble. In my opinion, it’s a pretty great school, and also the teachers are so nice to their students, always trying their best to help the students in their studies. Also, Math, Science, and their English are really exceptional. This is the only school I know where they have two Maths. Oh, and don’t get me started on their Chinese. Their Chinese is really exceptional, though they focus on Mandarin and don’t really teach Hokkien here. But overall, a very exceptional school. #ChooseGCC

★★★★★(5 reviews)Brought food from outside then guards wouldn’t allow it in. I saw people bringing it in and guards don’t even care. I’m disappointed. Most of the bathrooms don’t have a bidet. Chinese teachers saying bad words in a Christian school. I’m very disappointed at GCC
They tell u to cut hair and if u say no to teacher they call your parents and they hit u if u don't listen they are mean not a good place to study the quality is now bad
I’ve studied here for 8-ish years, but left during the pandemic. Leaving this school felt like a heavy burden being lifted off my chest, given the abundant amount of problems this school has to offer that still comes to my mind from time to time. One that irritates me the most is the ineffective method of teaching within the chinese curriculum. Not sure if it’s still like this or in high school since I didn’t stay long enough, but in elementary, teachers would oftentimes make you memorize so much stuff with no real-life application. They’d sometimes even force you to stay after classes to make you recite this thing you’re eventually going to forget in a week. I thought this was normal until I transferred schools, and it’s really unfortunate to be culture shocked that teachers would actually care about your well-being, cuz to me, being at this school made me feel like they’re transforming me into a robot. Being honest here, I never really learned anything during chinese classes. Plus, the no filipino rule is dumb. In short, if you hate your kids, then send them here.
They do not deal with bullying at all!! In school year 2017-2018 (for me), i was in second grade and i got bullied twice and they did not bother to deal with it… the first time i got bullied, a little boy threw a piece on clay on my chin, and the second time i got bullied, the same boy scratched my cheek with a pencil… good thing it did not go in my face or else i would have gotten a scar on my cheek, which will most-likely make the people ask me where i got it from… the administration chose to not do anything about this incident because the boy who bullied me was a kid of a teacher that works there… so after school year 2017-2018 passed, i switched to another school that deals with bullying
