Seibo College
Seibo College is a private Catholic basic education school in Panghulo, Malabon City, Metro Manila, founded on September 8, 2002, by Fr. Rogelio B. Alarcon, O.P. Despite its name, Seibo College is not a degree-granting college: it offers pre-elementary, elementary, and secondary (junior and senior high school) education using an ungraded, self-paced system delivered through its Home Education Learning Program (HELP). The school's name, Japanese for 'Holy Mother,' honors the Blessed Virgin Mary and references co-founder Sr. Milagros Alarcon's missionary work in Japan. Seibo College received government recognition for its pre-elementary and elementary courses in March 2008, followed by recognition of its secondary course in 2009. Beyond its main site in Malabon, the school has operated Community-Based Learning Centers supporting home-schooled learners in other parts of the Philippines.
