Saint Louis College La Union

Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) is a private Catholic institution in Carlatan, San Fernando City, owned and operated by the CICM Missionaries (Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary), founded in 1862 by Théophile Verbist. The school offers a full range of programs from basic education (pre-elementary through senior high school) to undergraduate and graduate studies through its School of Advanced Studies. Its Elementary School Program is PAASCU Level II accredited and its Secondary (Junior High School) Program is PAASCU Level III accredited. SLC-SFLU holds CHED Autonomous Status and has been recognized as a CHED Teacher Education Center of Excellence. The college runs an extensive scholarship system, including SLC-sponsored academic and need-based grants, employee-dependent scholarships, privately sponsored scholarships, and access to government-sponsored programs such as CHED's Study Now Pay Later Plan, DOST, PVAO, and OWWA scholarships. It is known locally as "The Beacon of Wisdom in the North."
