Palawan Polytechnic College Inc

Palawan Polytechnic College, Inc. (PPCI), also known as MATS, is a private college in Barangay Milagrosa, Manalo Extension, Puerto Princesa City. It began in 1979 as the Mindanao Aeronautical Technological School and was converted into Palawan Polytechnic College in 1986. Reviewers describe it as mainly a maritime, nursing, and police training institute; its programs include BS Marine Transportation, BS Marine Engineering, BS Nursing, BS Criminology, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Tourism, BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, BS Customs Administration, Computer Science, and Secondary Education with an English specialization, plus technical certificate courses in electronics, automotive, and maritime servicing. The school holds ISO 9001:2008 certification and has received a provincial Governor's Award.
