Northeastern College

Northeastern College is a private, nonsectarian school in Santiago City, Isabela, founded in 1941 as the Northeastern Institute by Atty. Francisco E. Pascual, his wife Doña Emeteria Bautista Pascual, and Leon Cadaoas. It was the first secondary school established in Isabela province. Operations paused during the Japanese occupation in World War II and resumed in 1945; the school expanded into college-level education in 1944 and later adopted its current name. Northeastern College now operates ten colleges covering Liberal Arts, Law, Business Administration and Accountancy, Engineering, Education, Nursing, Midwifery, Hospitality and Restaurant Management, Information Technology, and Criminology, along with graduate programs including a Doctor of Education and a Master in Business Administration. Its main campus is on the Maharlika Highway in Santiago City, with a satellite campus in San Agustin, Isabela. The school's motto is 'Knowledge is Power,' and its students and alumni are known as 'NC'nians.'
