Lourdes School of Mandaluyong
Lourdes School of Mandaluyong (LSM) is a Catholic school for boys run by the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, located along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City's Ortigas Center. It was founded in 1959 on a three-hectare property donated by the Ortigas family, growing out of a chapel that opened in 1958, and started with about a hundred students in Grades One to Four. The school now offers Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School under the DepEd K-12 curriculum, and its basic education program holds Level II PAASCU accreditation, earned in 2010. LSM operates under the patronage of Saint Francis of Assisi and Our Lady of Lourdes, with Christian Life Education built into the curriculum alongside academics and community outreach. The school offers a scholarship program for qualified students. LSM is the brother school of Lourdes School of Quezon City; both trace back to the Capuchin friars who began their educational mission in the Philippines after arriving in 1886.
