Davao Christian High School - V. Mapa Campus

Davao Christian High School - V. Mapa Campus is a private Christian basic education school in Poblacion District, Davao City. It traces its roots to the Davao Chinese Gospel Church Kindergarten School, founded January 14, 1953, which added elementary classes in 1959 and high school in 1971 before the institution was formally named Davao Christian High School in 1973. The V. Mapa campus has operated at its current site since 1988 and offers preschool/kindergarten, elementary, junior high school, and senior high school under the DepEd K-12 curriculum, with a sister campus at C.P. Garcia opened in 2015. The school welcomes students of Filipino, Chinese, and other nationalities and includes basic Mandarin Chinese language instruction alongside Christian Education classes in its curriculum. Its Preschool, Elementary, and High School departments hold Level 2 and Level 3 accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities - Accrediting Agency (ACSCU-AAI), awarded between 2013 and 2015. Campus facilities include an auditorium, an audio-visual room, a covered court, two libraries, computer laboratories, science laboratories, and home economics rooms. Together with its C.P. Garcia campus, DCHS serves roughly 2,900 students.
