BEA
Batangas Eastern Colleges (BEC), known locally as BEA, is a private, non-sectarian school in Poblacion, San Juan, Batangas. It was founded on March 16, 1940 as the Bolbok Institute by Mercedes S. de Villa and Iñigo A. Javier, later renamed Batangas Eastern Academy for its location in the easternmost part of Batangas province, and reorganized as Batangas Eastern Colleges in 2003. It is the oldest private educational institution in San Juan. BEC now runs a complete K-12 system spanning Pre-School, Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School, plus a College Level and a Technical-Vocational Center. College programs include Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration with majors including Human Resource Development Management and Marketing Management, BS Accounting Technology, BS Real Estate Management, and BS Computer Education.
