TL;DR: DepEd publishes [email protected] for the Public Assistance and Action Center, and the same address appears in DepEd Freedom of Information materials as the FOI Receiving Officer contact. Data privacy requests go to [email protected]. The widely quoted short form
[email protected]does not appear on DepEd's current Contact Us page, so we do not list it. Separately, the personal@deped.gov.phaccount that staff use is governed by DepEd Order No. 85, s. 2012, which established the DepEd Email Service and enjoins permanent employees to register for an account through their own office.
The phrase "DepEd email address" is doing two jobs at once. Some people want a public address to send a complaint or a request to. Others are DepEd staff trying to understand the personal account issued to them. This guide handles both, and applies one rule throughout: every address below was read off an official DepEd page or an official DepEd issuance, and nothing was included that could not be.

Addresses Published Inside DepEd Orders
This is the trick most people miss. When you have a question about a specific policy, the DepEd order that created it usually prints the responsible office's email in its own text. That is a stronger source than any directory, because it is signed and dated. Examples from current issuances:
| Email address | Office | Issuance it appears in |
|---|---|---|
| [email protected] | Bureau of Learning Delivery, Office of the Director | DO 012, s. 2024 and DO 015, s. 2026 |
| [email protected] | BHROD, School Effectiveness Division | DO 002, s. 2024 |
| [email protected] | Office of the Undersecretary for Learning Systems Strand | DO 017, s. 2026 |
| [email protected] | Strengthened Senior High School Technical Working Group | DO 017, s. 2026 |
The practical method: find the order that governs your question, scroll to the contact paragraph near the end, and write to the office named there. Our guide on how to find DepEd orders covers locating the right issuance in the first place, and what a DepEd order is explains how they are structured.
Disclaimer: office names, mailboxes and phone numbers change. Everything above was verified in August 2026. Re-check on deped.gov.ph before relying on it, particularly if you are reading this much later.
What We Could Not Verify, and Why That Matters
[email protected] circulates very widely as the DepEd Action Center address. We looked for it on DepEd's current Contact Us page and did not find it; what that page publishes is [email protected]. We are not asserting the short address is dead, only that we could not confirm it, and an unconfirmed address is not something a guide should hand you as fact.
The same caution applies to any list of "all DepEd email addresses" you find compiled elsewhere. Directories go stale silently. An address that bounces costs you a week; an address that reaches the wrong office costs you longer.
Regional and Division Offices
Central Office addresses will not help with a school-level concern. Regional offices and schools division offices maintain their own websites under the deped.gov.ph domain and publish their own contacts, and those change more frequently than the central ones. Look up the specific office rather than guessing a pattern.
Our DepEd regional and division offices overview explains the structure, and the Schools Division Office guide covers which unit handles what, so you can work out which level your concern belongs to before you send anything.
The Personal DepEd Email Account
For staff, the @deped.gov.ph account is a policy matter, not just an IT one.
DepEd Order No. 85, s. 2012, "Policy on the Establishment of DepEd Email Service," establishes the DepEd Email Service as one of the official means of communication for use by permanent employees and authorised consultants, personnel and staff. All permanent employees are enjoined to register for their DepEd email accounts and adopt them in day-to-day official communications. The order states that use of the service is a privilege subject to acceptable use, places operation and management with the Technical Service, and supersedes provisions of an earlier issuance on the same subject.
Two practical consequences follow:
- Accounts are issued by DepEd, through your own office. Regional offices and schools division offices handle requests for their personnel. There is no national self-service sign-up page, and no third-party site can create an account for you.
- The account is for official communication. Because it is a privilege subject to acceptable use, treat it as the record it is.
We are a school directory, not a government portal. We do not issue accounts, host a login, or have anything to sign into. If you need an account, the request goes to the ICT unit of the office you belong to.
Before You Send Anything
- Match the address to the function. Complaints and requests for assistance to the action centre; personal-data requests to the data privacy officer; policy questions to the bureau named in the order.
- Confirm the address on deped.gov.ph on the day you use it. Copy it from the page, not from a screenshot.
- Include specifics. School name, school ID, region and division, and the issuance number if your question is about a policy. If you do not know your school's identifiers, our Learner Information System guide explains where school and learner records live.
- Do not send sensitive personal data to a general mailbox. Send it to the office that actually needs it.
- Treat any request for payment as a red flag. Nothing on DepEd's published contact pages involves paying a fee to be helped.
