Most universities publish their courses by college. Centro Escolar University publishes them by campus, and that is not a formatting quirk — the three lists are meaningfully different. A programme you find on the Manila page may not exist in Makati, and vice versa. Applying to the wrong campus for the course you want is the most common avoidable mistake with CEU.
Here is what each campus publishes. For address, contacts and level flags, see the Centro Escolar University profile.
The three campuses
- Manila — 9 Mendiola Street, San Miguel, Manila
- Makati — 259 Senator Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati, plus 103 Esteban Street, Legaspi Village
- Malolos — Km. 44 McArthur Highway, City of Malolos, Bulacan
Undergraduate programmes: Manila
Education and social sciences
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Secondary Education, and majors in English, Mathematics and Science
- Bachelor of Special Needs Education, and a specialization in Early Childhood Education
- BA Communication and Media, Curriculum A, and Curriculum B with 21 units of Education
- BA Political Science, Curriculum A, and Curriculum B with 21 units of Education
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science
- Associate in Library and Information Science
- BS Social Work with a specialization in Community Health Care, Curriculum A, and Curriculum B with 21 units of Education
The Curriculum A and Curriculum B split is a CEU feature worth understanding. Curriculum B adds education units to a non-education degree, which is what a graduate needs to sit the Licensure Examination for Teachers. If teaching is a fallback plan, that is the version to take. Our how to become a teacher guide covers the requirement.
Music
Bachelor of Music in Music Composition with a specialization in Music Production and Engineering, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and Bachelor of Music in Music Performance. Music Education and Music Performance each run instrument tracks: brasswind (trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba), choral conducting, guitar, organ, percussion, piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass), voice and woodwind (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone). Music Performance adds musical theater.

Graduate programmes
CEU's Manila graduate list is the largest of the three and spans education, business, health sciences, psychology, public administration and music. It includes master's degrees in nursing with tracks in leadership and governance, gerontology, maternal and child nursing and medical-surgical nursing; MS Health Science Education in dental, medical technology, optometry and pharmacy education; MS Cosmetic Science; MS Dentistry in orthodontics and periodontics with matching graduate diplomas; MBA in thesis, non-thesis and executive versions; and doctoral programmes including PhD in Pharmacy, PhD in Business Management, PhD in Psychology with an industrial and organisational specialization, Doctor of Public Administration, Doctor of Musical Arts and a post-doctoral diploma in Quality Management.
Getting in
CEU handles admission by applicant category and by campus rather than through one university-wide entrance test page. The published categories for undergraduate entry are incoming first-year and freshman applicants, transferee and second-degree applicants, returning students, foreign applicants as freshmen, foreign applicants as transferees or second-degree students, and Filipinos who studied abroad. Each has its own online application procedure and requirement list on the campus admissions pages, and applications carry a school year label so you can see which cycle you are applying into.
Two entry routes are documented in detail and worth reading before you apply:
School of Medicine. Requirements include Filipino citizenship, a bachelor's degree evidenced by a diploma and transcript — with a CHED Special Order for graduates of Philippine private schools — and a creditable NMAT percentile score at or above the level set by the Admission Committee, with the NMAT taken no more than two years before the application. You also submit a certificate of general weighted average, a PSA certificate of live birth, a certificate of good moral character with the school seal, ID photos and the completed application form. Transfer applicants add course descriptions and clock hours from the previous school and an honorable dismissal from the last medical school attended. Our NMAT guide covers the test.
School of Law and Jurisprudence. Open to holders of any bachelor's degree regardless of age, gender or religion. First-year applicants submit original transfer credentials, a transcript with a Special Order marked for further studies or a certificate of graduation, certificates of good moral character from the last school and from the barangay or employer, and a PSA birth certificate, then sit entrance examinations described as psychological and essay tests held Saturdays with a testing fee of 790, followed by an interview with the Admissions Committee. Transfer students add a certificate of eligibility for admission into the law course from their previous law school. CEU also publishes tuition and miscellaneous fee discounts for Latin honours graduates entering law: 100 per cent for summa cum laude, 75 per cent for magna cum laude and 50 per cent for cum laude. Our best law schools guide puts CEU in context.
What it costs
CEU does not publish a schedule of tuition and fees on its public website. What it does publish is the scholarships and grants list — university scholarships, university grants, entrance scholarships, entrance grants and veterans affairs assistance — plus student loans, financial grants for participation in university activities, a student assistantship programme and payment channel information. Assessment happens at enrolment. Our CEU tuition fee guide covers what students report paying.
