TL;DR: Two things matter more than any ranking of Cavite schools. Senior high strands no longer exist for incoming Grade 11 under DepEd Order No. 017, s. 2026, so "which strands do you offer?" is the wrong question now. And no Cavite private school publishes a schedule of fees — every peso range this page used to carry has been removed. The one Cavite institution with published results is DLSMHSI, at 134 of 163 first-time takers in the October 2025 medical boards.
What Changed on This Page
This guide previously printed a tuition tier table for the province and per-school annual ranges for DLSU-D, EAC Cavite, St. Dominic College of Asia, Imus Institute and Tagaytay schools.
They were estimates. They matched no published schedule at any of those schools — DLSU-D's own site links to payment options and a payment portal without printing a rate — and they have been removed rather than widened.
What replaces them is the part of this decision that can actually be checked: the curriculum rules that changed this year, the voucher money, and the one Cavite school whose performance the PRC publishes.
Senior High Changed Underneath This Decision
DepEd Order No. 017, s. 2026, the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum, removed the strand layer. There are now two tracks — Academic and Technical-Professional. Inside the Academic Track sit five clusters of electives: Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities; Business and Entrepreneurship; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; Sports, Health and Wellness; and Field Experience. The order says explicitly that clusters are not strands, because a school need not offer everything inside one and a learner may choose across several.

So the question to a Cavite school is "which electives will you actually run for Grade 11 next year, and how many learners took each one this year?" Work immersion differs by track. It is mandatory on Technical-Professional and optional on Academic. For a family weighing a technical programme against a college-preparatory one in Cavite, that changes the shape of two years.
The Voucher Is the Largest Number Most Families Miss
DepEd Order No. 011, s. 2026, the revised E-GASTPE guidelines effective SY 2026-2027, sets the amounts in Section 48, Table 13. For Categories A, B and C the maximum is PHP 22,500 a year in NCR, PHP 20,000 in highly urbanised cities outside NCR and PHP 17,500 in all other locations. Categories D and E sit a tier lower, at PHP 18,000, PHP 16,000 and PHP 14,000. The school is paid the lower of its total fees or the cap, so check which tier a Cavite school falls into.
Nobody qualifies automatically any more. Qualified Voucher Recipient is the status you receive once your application is approved, not a bypass. Categories A to D file their documents directly at the private senior high school they have chosen; only Category E, Grade 10 completers from private schools, applies through PEAC's online portal. The voucher is also private-school-only: transferring to a public school, or to an SHS run by a state or local university or college, forfeits it. Bacoor, not Dasmariñas, has the most listed schools. If you are in the northern towns, a Bacoor school may be the realistic choice regardless of which Dasmariñas campus has the bigger name.
The Schools Families Ask About
- De La Salle University Dasmariñas — the province's largest university, running basic education through graduate programmes. It publishes payment options and a senior high academic calendar but not a schedule of rates.
- De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, also in Dasmariñas — the only Cavite institution in this guide whose performance appears in a national release, covered below.
- Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite — health and allied-health programmes.
- St. Dominic College of Asia, Bacoor — nursing, hospitality and aviation-related programmes.
- Imus Institute of Science and Technology, Imus — a long-established local school.

The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute appears in the PRC's Performance of Schools table for the Physician Licensure Examination.

Read honestly: DLSMHSI sits close to the national figure in October 2025 and above it in March 2026, on a cohort large enough for the numbers to mean something. That is a real result and it is not the top of the table. Our best medical schools guide has the full comparison.
No other Cavite school in this guide publishes, or appears in, a comparable table. That is not a criticism of them; it is the state of the evidence.
How to Compare Cavite Schools
Ask each registrar for the schedule of fees in writing. Nobody publishes it. Ask what the payment options cost, and what is outside tuition — books, uniforms, laboratory and technology fees, immersion costs.
Ask which electives will run, not which clusters exist. See above.
Ask for board exam passers and examinees by cycle if you are choosing a college programme. Two numbers, three cycles.
Check accreditation at programme level. PAASCU and PACUCOA accredit programmes at levels, and a school-level mention is a different claim.
Treat the commute as a cost. Cavite traffic is the single most underestimated factor in this decision. Bacoor to Dasmariñas at the wrong hour is not the trip a map suggests. Do the actual journey at the actual time before you commit, and if you are in Tagaytay or the upland towns, price boarding against a daily trip honestly.
Ask about scholarships early and specifically. Merit awards, sibling discounts and parish or foundation scholarships are common and under-advertised, and many are allocated on a first-come basis.
Visit on a normal school day, not an open house, and look at the laboratories any science programme claims.
Enrollment Basics
Cavite private schools run the standard cycle, with most activity from March through August. Commonly required:
- PSA birth certificate
- Report card and certificate of good moral character
- Recent ID photographs
- For transferees, records from the previous school
- An entrance examination or interview for selective programmes
