A high standard secondary school in the Philippines. Facilities are conducive for students to learn because of limiting the number of students in each class. Open grounds are perfected by those ample trees covering the car parking, walkpath, and school buildings. Parents and students will definitely love this school except, of course.....the tuition 😊. Nonetheless, they're producing high quality graduates, competing universities locally and all over the world. Thumbs-up to Maryknoll/Miriam.

Miriam used to be a great school, they say, but it's sad that I don't see that now. I got a graduate degree here and I noticed how bad their student system/enrollment system is. Students are not be able to check on their grades, it's always nowhere to be found. We have to ask the dept. to send us our grades. We even worried they don't keep track of it, and if you have no proof you finished a subject, it's scary to think that you might end up not graduating bec your grades are nowhere to be found. 2nd issue here I saw in Miriam is that they have bad professors, mediocre. If you do get a professor with high credentials, their credentials are not aligned to the course. They give examples that are not relatable to the students because their experience doesn't come from the profession that suits the course. Also, professors are always not clear on instructions. They hire the ones that have outdated knowledge, and it's especially true to the course I got which involves digital tools. My classmates and I thought we would learn something new, something from the experiences of professors in that industry, but instead I ended up wasting my time listening to not even the basics, but layman's knowledge. I thought MA was supposed to be a deeper dive into education... 3rd issue I saw is how Miriam say that students are going to study 1 subject for 3-4 weeks. Only 1 subject a month, to make them more focused on that subject, but what happens is 1 month is too short, and we end up extending 2 more weeks, which then overlaps with the new subjects. So the plan doesn't really go well... Overall, I'm glad I finished the course, but I would have gotten it from a different university if I knew how much time I will waste in Miriam... It's especially frustrating when you know you're wasting your time knowing you just got out from work and would rather spend time with family...but then have to listen to babblings of professors.
