We went there on my mom's birthday recently.. but I grew up with it. It was a reconstructed cathedral from the original one which was burned during the 2nd world-war. But it still stands to where it was originally built by the Spaniards, 10 days after they landed on the shore of Puerto Princesa which they gave this name on that day, March 4, 1872. The priest who celebrated the first mass on the site is the co-founder of the place and is now a saint, patron saint of cancer patients, St. Ezekiel Moreno.😁💯🏝
